Many, many years ago, on looking at some watch with complications that were hidden by hands, it triggered something.

I wondered if, instead of hands, they could use a glass disc (or two). With the pointer printed (or stuck) onto it but leaving the central area (other than for the spindle) entirely clear.

Thanks for reminding me of a very old thought.
I actually had a cheap alarm clock when I was a kid, where this tactic was used. It was one of those cigarette company souvenirs and the instead of the second hand they had the company logo on a plastic disc that would rotate.

+1 for still experiencing the green/grey tint after this update (ffs).

In a dark room I can actually see it flickering back and forth between green and true back multiple times on the notification pull down. Seems really unpolished for a company such as Apple.

Here's hoping WatchOS 9.6 finally fixes it!

Using the Ultra …
I usually try to do 20-25 flights of stairs a day (14 stairs in the flight) and it has been pretty accurate.
Since this update it is undercounting.

Doing my normal I should have had 20 and the watch indicated 18. 2 short?
So I continued to 35 flights (huff huff huff …) and my Ultra indicated 31.
Steps appear accurate.
Exercise appears good.
Stands appear accurate.
Heart rate is good.

Just flights climbed looks to be off.

Agreed. The requirement to be connected to a charger, and at 50%+ battery, to update feels very, very outdated. I've never installed a watch update that used up more than a few % of battery power.
Might be missing something here, but if it has to be connected to a charger, how do you determine what % of the battery would have been used it it had NOT been connected to a charger?

Taking forever. Started it about 40 minutes ago and it still says downloading. Hoping it fixes the quick battery drain that started with last download.

View attachment 2209809For f sake… please make it so that the watch hands stop covering up the complications. The hand should go opaque or something… or just let me shut off the watch hands. I can’t be the only one who like digital time. How stupid is it that I can’t even see how much time is left on my timer in the attached example.
Yes, I reported this to Apple multiple times.

Please let this happen. This bothers me so much.

Apple Watch SE with Watch OS 9.5 => 9.5.1:

a) Volume control is fixed on the audio app.
Hasn’t fixed it for me - it worked initially, but once the music app has been running for a while it stops working again. Only a force quit of the music app or watch restart will fix it.

You are right, OMG what a mess. I hope a 9.5.2 or 9.6.0 is released soon, not adding any new, just fixing these two ugly bugs (how this built went through the validation team) :-(
