A Bezel-less screen is great visually, but not functionally. On my 14 Pro, my skin always hits the shift keyboard button when I type with one hand, and I have large hands.

Solution : They would need to make a "no-multi-touch" surrounding all around the screen. Which would not pose any problem because it's already considered as a safe area for developers.

So we had sort of bezeless, super thing bezels, practically bezeless thrown around..

Can we actually use the words when bezels are gone?

I prefer a bezel-less Display over a foldable Display for the iPhone.

Huge bezels to almost thin line bezels. We have come a long way!

Well you know me @TheYayAreaLiving 🎗️ I am paranoid about dropping iphone so I never use one with out a case so this bezel-less idea is personally of no interest to me I love my 14 ProMax (I have large hands so its nice to hold with the case/bezel). Not sure I will like this even if rumor is true we shall see

To be honest I couldn't care less for bezellnesses.

What I want is much thinner phone with smaller battery and more protruding cameras.

I wonder if Apple will deliver in this area.

Listen to your customers, guys!

I care more about hiding their damned dynamic island and notch more than the bezel-less implementation. Even Samsung doesn’t have a symmetrical bezel; it’s always a larger chin and I don’t understand why they have that.

Even a mid range Nothing Phone 1 is symmetrical.

But I am sure the island and notches are here to stay as Apple implemented them on the MacBooks without any real reason to other than to ensure everyone knows it’s an Apple product.

So sad that this is the best Apple can do. They’re giving us what we want in terms of ports even though some of us would rather four Thunderbolt ports, and the trade off is have to put up with stupid notches for design language.

They’re really messing up in terms of a way to progress forward by giving us something we can’t think of. Apple isn’t innovative at all.

We will just put a notch here as our design language. You mean to implement FaceID? No we just act like it needs to be there for a 1080p camera and it ensures everyone knows this is an ugly MacBook rather than a worthless PC.

FaceID is supposed to go under-display in 2025 and then Dynamic Island gone in 2027:

It remains to be seen if they’ll be able to get the tech working. We’ve had rumors of under-display sensors for many years now, and so far it hasn’t panned out.

Totally true. But like i said before - IPhone 15 ist the one to have, until 6G comes around the corner. By then we will be free of those bezels and switches anyway ;-)

Can Apple get obsessed with a bezelless design for the Studio Display? That’s what I want
I would love them to do that to my next iPad Pro (have latest now 6 gen 12.9). There is a quarter inch on all edges that could be used 🙃🙃:cool:
