Totally this. Waiting for USB-C and AoD and I'm back on iPhone boat again. These are only two things keeping me at Android.
As with the past couple of years, I don’t see any killer features and if I upgrade or not will depend entirely on some great trade-in promo.
I hope you are kidding. My Gf calls me an apple fan boy, have iphone, iwatch,ipad, air pos,air tags,macbook pro. I have said this once and I will say it again Apple sells products that are just good enough and in most cell phones offering they are actually behind the curve. If everything didnt work so well together, I will go with a Samsung products.
I’ll be disappointed if there’s no mini option this year. Although, due to working from home now, I’m using my phone for Microsoft Teams and emails each day, so the battery life isn’t great for what I use my 12 mini for.
I’d love a much bigger battery in a mini iPhone, but it looks like I’ll have to get the 6.1 inch iPhone 14, even though I’ll struggle to hold it lol. I also need more storage, as my 12 mini is running out of space.

Just upgraded from 11 Pro Max to S22 Ultra and I can confidently say Samsung have already outclassed Apple in design. No notch and the screen flows to the side in such a way as if there is no bezel at all. Apart from the SOC there really isn't any compelling reason to stay iPhone anymore.
yeah, I'm bumping from 12 Mini to 13 Mini as soon as they dip in price this fall. If it's going to be my only phone for the foreseeable future, I suppose I've got to at least have the better battery.
I don’t think the slight increase in battery life between the 12 mini and 13 mini would be good enough for me. I am thinking about maxing out on storage (I want at least 1TB), so I don’t have to worry about storing things on my phone (I want to store my Apple TV/iTunes Store purchases locally). That might mean that I have to get a 14 Pro, but I don’t care for the extra camera features at all.
It's more than slight! The battery in the 12 Mini was barely adequate; the 13 Mini embiggened it past the stock 12
Oh okay, thanks. I actually got a 12 when it first came out, but returned it because it was too big for me. I’ll have to research this after the new phones have been announced.

If you don't expect a new product to sell better than the previous version, then you're doing it wrong.

2 years replacement for what? An iphone 13 does exactly the same on day to day than iPhone XS, X and even 8… Same apps and almost same experience (interface etc.).
More and more people are beginning to realize that its not necessary to buy the last iPhone because of that.
Not excited about the iPhone 14. Im coming from a 12 pro and plan on buying a 13 mini.
I'm on a 4 year schedule so I won't be upgrading my 12 until the 16 comes out
