Splashed all over the front page of Mac Rumors...I don't think it is 'secret' any longer.

Apple may be holding a "secret iOS developer summit" at its Cupertino headquarters just ahead of the planned release of iOS 4.2, ostensibly to help developers use its new features.

I actually think it could be about the Mac App Store and nothing to do with iOS at all. The Mac App Store launches within 90 days, it seems odd for Apple to shift their focus seeing they don't have that long to get developers making apps for it.

Guess it's ...

Yes, but not everyone will - theres a lot of restrictions in the Mac App Store meaning a lot of the big Mac apps can't be on the store, it just seems odd that a week after the OS event they've shifted focus off Mac again.
