They do allow that, at least with the level of subscription that I have.
I have the basic online package (no DTV subscription) without Redzone. I can't remember if I could stream to multiple boxes if you had DirecTV though... I do get RedZone through YouTube TV, which has been great, since I can watch side by side.

Are buyout clauses compulsory in the US? I'm legitimately asking because I'm neither from the US nor a lawyer, because if such clause doesn't exist in the contract between the NFL and Microsoft then there will be grueling negotiations and, I suppose, a crazy amount of money asked by Microsoft in order to end that partnership, but I guess that if that contract has that clause then it would have to be astronomically high.
i don't know about compulsory, but they do happen often in various circumstances. Usually, if enough money is thrown at it, the other side takes the deal. 😆. Much of those things are included in the negotiations. A "surprise" is the last thing anyone on either side wants!

I would love it if Apple Also got Scott Hansen's NFL Red Zone. Youtube TV wants an extra 10 bucks for it, but if Apple wants to get into sports streaming, it seems like Red Zone would be a perfect fit for it, especially since it's only once a week.

That will be fun to watch, an Apple service that promotes their direct competition.

I dunno. I imagine the moment one of the coaches smashes his Microsoft tablet against the stands again, we may just start seeing replays of that iconic scene all day.

On a recent Fitness+ workout, a couple of trainers chose flip phones over brick phones in a this or that game. It was a minor promotion for direct competition since Apple doesn't have a flip phone at this time.
