I'm pretty sure the number of people who use Apple Maps versus Google Maps or even Waze is very low.
And what premium? iPhones cost the same as similar Samsung phones.
Entirely wrong for me in UK.I've deleted this app years ago. I doubt they managed to get ahead of GMaps/Waze here in EU.
Talk about working only to add to the coffers of the large shareholding brokerage firms. Although, they could be pioneering something altogether new to benefit Apple consumers. ASS - Ad Service as a Service.Tim "The Living Spreadsheet" Apple and his Service Revenue Band with their newest hit ...
You really are in the minority. Trusting anything but Google Maps in the UK is dumb. I use Apple Maps if, say, it's the evening and I'm trying to get back home from being out. But if I'm having to go an appointment, and need to arrive on time, then it's Google Maps each time. I have been paid back in shame for disobeying this rule so many times.Entirely wrong for me in UK.
1000+ dollars for phones isnt premium prices? You accept this as its something normal. You deserve this en********ation.I'm pretty sure the number of people who use Apple Maps versus Google Maps or even Waze is very low.

Look around the tech world. Apple is the lesser of evils and that's what they bank on, then they sprinkle in ways to convince their users that the data will be secure and ads won't be targeted. Pretty easy to look good against companies like Microsoft and Google who rake you over the coals with analytics to the point you can't even use their products without work arounds of hours of analytics removal. Unless everyone moves to Linux or equivalent mobile OS this is what we'll have until the governments around the world improve consumer protections. Spoiler: it won't.They just keep doing doing things that distinguish them even less from competitors. Makes it harder to justify the premium you pay for their products.
If they don’t make money from their users, Apple would have imploded. And Steve is deceased.“We make money when we sell devices. We think the user experience should be the product, not something you exploit."
"Our goal is to make the best devices in the world, not to make money off our users."
-Steve Jobs
Both have paid ads in them. 🤣Google Maps or Waze then
It’s going to be server side you’ll get them regardless of iOS version.all the better reason to stay on 18 forever
Agree that they seem to be content with being the “lesser of evils.” What some of us long-time Apple customers lament is that they used to strive to be the objectively better choice instead of making “hey, at least we are not them” their main selling point.Look around the tech world. Those will be very classy premium ads.How much money does Apple need? This just cheapens a premium product!
If they start putting Ad’s in paid services such as Apple Music or Apple TV, I won’t think twice about cancelling Apple One and pirating everything.they just the same as every other company wait till they start putting ads in Apple Music and Apple TV
