17e should have been released with the main 17 models earlier this month. Guessing Apple wanted to shake down the high rollers before allowing budget buyers their preference.

Tim's looking really old in this shot. That 48mp camera on the iPhone 17 Pro is really picking up the wrinkles on his face and neck
He looked and sounded old in pretty much the whole video of iPhone release. Can't blame him for that, the man is getting older.

Looking particularly old comparing to some of the heads of these AI companies popping up like Sam Altman. Drives home the message of last gen tech company and latest gen tech company.

2 front camera for landscape and portrait.
That extra M, thank god for that.
When are they going to introduce multi user and virtual machine for the already OP iPad m series?

The update/replacement of the 27" iMac (ideally as a 32" iMac) is taking longer than a George RR Martin book. 🙄

Since I’m not getting the 17PM because I find it rather ugly I have some cash “left over” and I’m thinking of picking up an iPad. I can’t decide if I should pick up a discounted M4 Pro or wait and see if the M5 will get 16GB of RAM. I don’t care about an extra camera but so far the rumors haven’t said anything about a RAM upgrade…

Don't know whether there will be an October event or whether it will only be a release through Apple Newsroom. All of them are minor updates. Waiting to see whether the M5 iPad Pro will have an increase in RAM for the 256 and 512GB versions.

I have a second gen 4k AppleTV circa 2021 that is still great. I am genuinely curious what the selling point would be of a new one.
Improved HDR, higher bandwidth, going forward, possibly 8K "ready"? Also improved performance for the "new" Siri. I have the same Apple TV, although we still have a FireTV in the bedroom, so upgrading the main TV to the new Apple TV and pushing the old one to the bedroom would be an improvement...

Apple's annual September event is now in the rearview mirror, with the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone Air, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE 3, and AirPods Pro 3 set to launch this Friday, September 19.

As always, there is more to come. In his Power On newsletter today, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said Apple plans to release many products in the "coming months."

In late 2025 to early 2026, Gurman expects Apple to release 10 products, including an iPad Pro with an M5 chip "as early as October":
Gurman's list did not mention the rumored lower-priced MacBook with an A18 Pro chip, which will launch in late 2025 to early 2026, according to previous reports.

It is not yet known if Apple plans to host another special event this year, or if these products would be announced with press releases on the Apple Newsroom website only. If the M5 chip debuts in 2025, then it is likely that Apple would host an event, as the M1 chip through to the M4 chip were all unveiled during events.

Pls launch Products rather than Keynote Presentation

With how long the M5 MacBook Pro is taking, I was hoping they might skip it and do an early OLED M6 MacBook Pro in June.

They gotta change the AI chip in him 😉

Another product launch based on promises is legally dangerous for Apple.

lmao they have $100+ billion in liquid, and 3.5 trillion in market cap. their legal team is guaranteed cash so long as they juggle whatever the next lawsuit is that comes their way. i dont think there's anything actually dangerous to apple.
