I don't really understand why Apple would visit macrumors on devices running 7.0.3? Does apple check Macrumors/media on their beta testing devices?

I'm just leaving on a business trip. Haven't even gotten to the airport yet, and it's at 86%. :/ I guess I should stop using it if I want it to last for the flight. Seems like it shouldn't be this bad.

Does your airplane have a USB socket or wall plug? Newer planes usually have them. I think the culprit is LTE web browsing + GPS + poor reception. In this situation I'd suggest switching back to 3G and disable most app's authorization of accessing GPS data e.g. Facebook, weather apps etc (some apps really have no apparent reasons for accessing your location).

Hopefully it will fix the iPhone 5s issues with contstant crashing and blue screens!!!

Not sure if it's my iPhone5, but ever since I upgraded to iOS7, iTunes quiets as soon as I open the app. Anyone else with the issue?

I would like to see them fix the car bluetooth connection issues. My car used to automatically connect to my iPhone and start playing the last thing I was playing. Now, nothing. I have to manually start it. And then, in the lock screen the player controls don't work until I reboot the phone. But everytime I get back in the car, the player controls (in the lock screen) stop working again.

No battery issues for me though.

Agreed. The only bluetooth connection I have in my phone is to my car. Sucks having to go into settings and select my cars connection when I turn on my car. Have to tell it to connect two or three times because it says it wont connect. Then when it does, it auto plays my play list which is a hassle too since I use iTunes radio or Pandora instead of the music on my iPhone. Don't have the have to restart the phone issue you have though.

Edit: Going to guess 7.0.3 will just fix the iMessage not sending bug.

Sure why not? The point of testing is to install new OS and do things you'd normally do with the phone. It'd be pointless to install the new OS only to hide the phone in your desk drawer.

On a side note, I hope these fast fixes don't mean the delay of Mavericks... cause I really want to see the launch of the new mini and Mac Pro with Mavericks installed.

That critical issues are fixing iMessage and NTLM authentication.

You forgot the battery drain issue. With EVERYTHING imaginable turned off to save the battery, including siri, I get horrible usage compared to iOS6.

If I could go back to iOS6 on the iPhone, I would in a heartbeat.

BGR reported this?

Ok so 7.0.3 ISN'T coming next week

Read again article "MacRumors has indeed been seeing visits from devices on Apple's networks running iOS 7.0.3, with the first visits coming on Friday, September 20 and increasing significantly last week."

I never said there wasn't a 7.0.3. I only mentioned the release date.

Yeah there will probably be a USB charger. At least I hope so. It just seems to be draining amazingly quickly and I'm going to be stuck searching for outlets at every opportunity for a quick charge-up all week. This is the number one inconvenience with iPhones these days. Apple should make battery life their top priority.

No problem with mine connecting with my Lincoln Sync (2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid). Still works like it did with iOS 6. I haven't tried it with music yet so can't give you anything about that.

No problems with battery issues for me either.

I feel satisfied back on iOS 6 while I still had the chance. Especially happy for my iPad to be on iOS 6 as well. :D

I think it could be next week because if 7.0.3 appeared on September 20 then it's passed enough time for fast bug fixes. Furthermore, there are critical bugs which persists especially iPhone 5s users

I hope they fix the opacity on of the volume when using the side buttons. It takes up a good portion of the screen. It's especially annoying when watching a video. The dumbest part is that it used to be transparent but now in iOS 7, which is all about the transparency, it no longer is.

I've got an iPhone 5 and the battery life is significantly worse on iOS 7. It was even restored. Hopefully Apple will at least improve battery life. Even with many features turned off like parallax, location services, and push email, it's not great. Certainly livable but there's room for improvement.
