Add me to the list of people looking for a fix to the iMessage problem. A "stuck" iMessage text shouldn't just stay "stuck". Set a timeout, or at least give us a way to stop and resend it.

Yeah there will probably be a USB charger. At least I hope so. It just seems to be draining amazingly quickly and I'm going to be stuck searching for outlets at every opportunity for a quick charge-up all week. This is the number one inconvenience with iPhones these days. Apple should make battery life their top priority.

Not really a solution, per se, but I bought one of these for a week-long camping trip where I used the iPhone all day as a GPS tracker. Seven iPhone 5 charges and the unit still had juice left, similar weight of an external USB hard drive but slightly larger, all for a cool Grant. No affiliation, just a happy customer.

Everything seems normal with battery life for me coming from an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 5S

Hope this makes the animations faster for opening folders and apps. Gets redundant and annoying fast!

Totally agree. In fact, I did a little test with an iPhone 4 running iOS 6 and an iPhone 4S running iOS 7, and it's noticeable quicker to get from an app to the home screen (when pressing the home button) on the iPhone 4. Same goes for double-pressing the home button to get to the app switcher – also noticeably quicker on the iPhone with iOS 6.

Needs fixing.

And I agree those who don't like the bright UI. Especially at night when the surroundings are darker it hurts the eyes. Definitely strange to have such a bright user interface for the Photos app.

my battery is about the same accept for i can get standby closer to 2 days.

Listening to mostly music and iTunes radio streaming to day so accept this result. but overall happy with iOS 7 battery life and I have also questions other friends and family and they haven't notice any difference between upgrades. By the way 2 days with same results is quite good

Wow, I just read about that iMessage bug. Glad I don't have the problem. Hope it gets fixed for everyone else.

I'm on the wagon for battery life tweaks. I've pared everything down and I'm still a bit short on usage time IMO.

I'll second the Weather/location services thing as well. Let me set my location.

I had a similar issue. I found that it was specific to the CAR.
Hard to blame the car when it was working fine with iOS 6. I have a 2011 Infiniti EX35 (and the iPhone 5).

And the player controls not working on the lock screen is not limited to just car bluetooth. The issue also happens with my bluetooth speaker. A friend of mine with a 4S had the same issue because she was asking me why her player controls weren't working.

Hopefully not a dumb question, i havent installed 7.0.2 yet, can you got from 7.0.1 to 7.0.3?

Have you got nothing better to do than troll?

In other news I expect quite a number of bug fix releases, more so than any other version of iOS.
It is quite unfortunate that anyone that does not agree to your opinion is considered troll.
Deal with it, I am allowed to dislike those icons.

honestly 7.0.2 is pretty decent on an iphone 4.
SL 10.8.5 is awful.
There needs to be a 10.8.6.
I don't care if it comes out before or after Mavericks.
Some folks will not want 10.9. And I am guessing that some won't be able to update to that as well.

iPad 2 drains about 1 percentage point per 5 minutes just sitting on the home screen now. Battery life is terrible now. Could use iPad 2 for couple days with iOS 6 (off and on) and now can't last a few hours. No change in usage pattern.

No, disliking the icons doesn't make you a troll. Calling it a problem that needs to be fixed, and randomly posting it in a thread about a bug-fix release (as all .X.X releases are) makes you a troll. The icons are not a bug, it's personal preference.

Switch to turn on/off OR speed up/slow down animations

While reduce motion and increase contrast in accessibility fixes some of the animations causing motion sickness, I hope the there will also be an option to turn on/off OR speed up/slow down the zooming animations. The slower animation of zooming of icons when opening or closing an app still triggers motion sickness. It's a health issue that unfortunately some of us have no control over.

Tapping on the screen once will turn the white boarders black for viewing; the boarders will remain black while swiping through your pics...

Really? thank you for the info, I did not know this... maybe i will make the switch.... :) (no, im not being sarcastic. i thought that white/silver boarder was always there even when you scroll through pics...)

my battery life on my 5S is fantastic, nearly double that of my 5... i'm hoping they don't break that!

Out of curiosity, what does that mean in real life? It lasts all day with moderate usage? Lasts until 5pm before needing a charge? What do you see under General--> Usage for battery life?

I'm upgrading from a 4 to a 5s and my battery doesn't seem any better. Very surprised, expected it to last full day with normal usage (obviously not if I'm streaming music or videos all day).

hahahahahaha oh the good ol Car interface fails to work problem. Apple has been renowned for this I'm afraid, they basically consider their own Bluetooth stack to be what everyone else should use, fortunately everyone else abides by the actual Bluetooth standard Apple refuses to, but Apple does force the car manufacturers have to release software updates for their radios just to work with the iPhone again...

I would like to see them fix the car bluetooth connection issues. My car used to automatically connect to my iPhone and start playing the last thing I was playing. Now, nothing. I have to manually start it. And then, in the lock screen the player controls don't work until I reboot the phone. But everytime I get back in the car, the player controls (in the lock screen) stop working again.

That is not just your car, it is the same way on my LG HBS-730. I can't hit play on the LG, or on the lock screen. Didn't try rebooting, but once the phone is unlocked, I can hit play from there.

You forgot the battery drain issue. With EVERYTHING imaginable turned off to save the battery, including siri, I get horrible usage compared to iOS6.

If I could go back to iOS6 on the iPhone, I would in a heartbeat.

Looks like you have a hung app. Usage and standby pretty much the same is an indication. (unless of course you unplugged and really are using it non stop for 3 hrs). A "reset all settings" will perhaps solve this for you.
