I have been very impressed with battery life on iphone5s and 5.
I would recommend doing clean install if you are having battery problems and looking at your background app refresh.

I am more interested into what 7.1 will bring us. Maybe new gestures? Some things had been found on springboard. Who knows what else!

iPhone4 with iOS7 here. Battery life is still astounding.

I think it could be next week because if 7.0.3 appeared on September 20 then it's passed enough time for fast bug fixes. Furthermore, there are critical bugs which persists especially iPhone 5s users

I hope it is next week but again due to BGR's track record with iOS 7 Beta releases. I wouldn't hold my breathe.

The battery life of my iPhone 5s varies greatly depending on usage pattern... on a holiday with occasional web browsing and messaging etc. it can have battery life as good as the attached screenshot. However, on a working day where there are usually two intensive sessions of web browsing on the subway train with Spotify music (offline mode), the battery can be largely drained in a few hours.

Wow, your battery life is so much worse than mine. I got 7h 44m usage together with 1day 5h (29h) standby when my battery was at 1% and died shortly after. I rarely have less than 50% when I go to bed at night, after unplugging it at ~9 AM. And this on beta, like beta 5 or something.

I have blutooth disabled, and background updating only for the apps i need it for such as news apps, Dropbox etc. Parallax disabled, everything else enabled. Fetch email every 15m, and auto brightness on, with the slider relatively high.

Hopefully this will fix the text messages being too light green and white bug.

Wow that's really amazing. I wish my iPhone had this amazing battery life. But I think I can't abandon my app's data and do a clean install and start everything over... so :(

----------

And fix the proximity sensor issue that I've been plagued with since... at least 7.0.2.

I was on a phone call and suddenly my face activated the speaker phone button...

I would like to see them fix the car bluetooth connection issues. My car used to automatically connect to my iPhone and start playing the last thing I was playing. Now, nothing. I have to manually start it. And then, in the lock screen the player controls don't work until I reboot the phone. But everytime I get back in the car, the player controls (in the lock screen) stop working again.

No battery issues for me though.

I had a similar issue. I found that it was specific to the CAR.

iOS 7 runs great on my iPhone 5 but runs pretty bad on my iPad 2. The main issues seem to be keyboard lag and general lack of responsiveness at times in the OS. Many people in my extended family and friends have iPads and think the amount of white is excessive. My mom said "I'm going to have to wear sunglasses now to use this thing!" I told her she can easily turn down the brightness, but that also decreases contrast which isn't good for people with poor vision.

I'll just leave my wish list here:

  • Speedier animations for crying out loud!
  • Fix warning popup when using cellular-restricted apps even when on WIFI (I have YouTube blocked for LTE because I sometimes forget and even on WIFI it always pops up and it's annoying!)
  • Fix lag on older iPads, especially with keyboard
  • An option for a darker UI would be great
  • Weather icon with temperature in notification center. Why do I have to read my weather and only sometimes get the current temperature??!?
  • More "widgets" and customization for notification center "Today" view
  • Control Center settings customization. Example: Toggle Tethering instead of Airplane Mode
  • Social share sheet buttons return in Notification Center
  • When selecting a photo to share from the camera roll, I want back the option from iOS 6 to add to Photo Stream directly
  • Touch ID "User Logins" on the next iPad to switch content, wallpapers, mail accounts, etc based on fingerprint when unlocking so families can share
  • More motion wallpapers and/or an API to develop them
  • Real-time Weather app icon with temperature
  • More than 9 items per folder page on iPad!
  • TouchID API for apps like banking, MyVerizon, Mint, Find My iPhone, etc
  • Ability and standard API to replace default apps with equivalent types from the App Store
  • Pushing home button while on home screen opens Spotlight Search like in iOS 6
  • Fix glitchy old reminders from showing up in Notification Center (what is even up with that?)
  • Contacts icon looks gross, especially on iPad for some reason—perhaps because it's used more often on the iPad?
  • News stand icon is also weird and tacky, should go back to showing little previews of magazines
  • Reminders UI needs improving. It's just not that good.

I'm also looking forward to updates to the iWork, iLife, Find My Friends, iBooks, Remote and Find My iPhone interfaces to more closely match iOS 7. I think October will be a good month for this.

I've had consistant crashes with the Apple Podcast app and built-in services like the search function.

After deleting the content, I deleted and reinstalled the Podcast app 5 or 6 times without any improvement, After 7.02 it's been fine, although the search function randomly crashes.

I've also found that the ambient light sensor is unresponsive at times, and doesn't adjust to changes in light.

BGR is no source

During the beta period of iOS 7, BGR had a lot of "confirmed" "reports" from "sources". ***** them! They don't know *****! BGR could not tell their *ss from a hole in the ground!
Everybody can tell you Apple is working on 7.0.3, as a fact, I can reveal for you Apple will start working on 7.0.4 as well really soon, and have also already started working on iOS 8. This is from the same "trusted source" as BGR uses. Quote this!

Please let this fix the battery drain. I can deal with the rest of the BS like Parallax and the home screen zoom.
You can turn off Parallax in General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion and set it to 'On'.

I have the horrendous battery life issue as well. Getting about 4 hours of normal use now, even after turning a bunch of stupid crap off including background refresh for most apps, among other things. Restored back to iOS 6 for a few days just to make sure it wasn't my phone and I was getting all day battery life with moderate/heavy use... so the battery life issue is definitely not cool.

Not to mention to get weather in Notification Center, you have to have location serves 'on'. Why? You didn't have to before. So annoying.

Its amazing the amount of energy that users and journalist put into trying to identify Apple's patterns even when it is practically a meaningless effort. What do the build numbers matter? The only thing that is for sure about the build numbers and version numbers is that they are incremental. What Apple decides to increment each to is completely arbitrary from our view point. I'm sure Apple has its reasons, and I'm sure most of us wouldn't care what those reasons even were.

Agree, I like to have all location services set to off, it was great before as weather showed up fine in the notification center.
