aesthetically its ugly AF. Bring back Jonathan Ives please. The mac pro is hideous and so are those monitors.

For an iPhone they would have to think about how to keep it clean. Who wants mildew or mold in the lattice. Perhaps a clear case would work here to protect the lattice from dirt.

Brass is antimicrobial...

I could see this working just fine for IPads and iMacs, not so much iPhone. I don't think too many people take their iPads or iMacs in the water, but my iPhone has already been in the Atlantic Ocean, so this would be a disaster on several levels. The salt even today corrodes my Lightning port making it buggy, took forever for me to determine a fix, and no rice won't completely fix that either.

I love it. Reminds me of peacock tail feathers, might be the interference pattern reminiscent of iridescence.

Mac Pro 6.1 design would work now with Apple Silicon! Live the idea of a round cheese grater design, the mouse inside would have a field day

Oh, we can't have chain link steering wheels because people got fingers (and other things?) stuck in the openings, so, NO CHEESE GRATER iPHONE... (Please) It *would* look awesome, but... An Otterbox case covers a lot of bad things.

but wait til you charge it wirelessly ... all the heat dissipation advantages will be gone and you can start frying eggs on the back of you iPhone ...
What’s the connection between the use of a lattice pattern and wireless charging? Am I missing something?
