Ive been saying for 2 yrs now theyre gonna go outta business by 2030 with this kind of behaviorUnbelievable, a giant corporation didn't live up to it's promises... Who could have guessed that one outside of people which don't spend their entire life staring at their iPhones.
And it remains to be seen what that upgrade will actually deliver. It's crazy that the siri upgrade is still being pushed to 26.4, one of the last upgrades before 27 is announced.
Apple is reportedly aiming to release the features as part of iOS 26.4, in March or April next year.
What? The iPhone 16 was nothing but AI driven. Constant AI commericals, constant AI delays. They advertised all of this AI BS on every carrier commercial to make people run and grab the phone and half of the features weren't even delivered. Not to mention IOS 18 was a disaster of a release from day 1. They 100% have a case. Nobody ran out to get the iPhone 16 for the camera. Believe me. It's not that great. The users suing Apple have no case. The iPhone 16 was not an Apple Intelligence focused device. Apple’s lawyers argued correctly that the iPhone 16 launched with many features that enhanced the user experience.
This case will be dismissed. Plain and simple
Says you, while charging your iphone 16 on Apple Airpower"I'm gonna be a dad!"
But honestly, I can't believe that people are really THAT upset about this. I've never put so much stake in a company's software promises. Is it disappointing? Sure. Does it really affect me in any meaningful way? Nope. Siri has always sucked, so I never had high hopes for anything anyway![]()
They literally marketed the phone as being “built for” Apple Intelligence. The users suing Apple have no case. The iPhone 16 was not an Apple Intelligence focused device. Apple’s lawyers argued correctly that the iPhone 16 launched with many features that enhanced the user experience.

Agreed. They were that close to calling it the AIphone 16 (Apple IPhone)What? The iPhone 16 was nothing but AI driven. Constant AI commericals, constant AI delays. Ok, counterpoint-The users suing Apple have no case. The iPhone 16 was not an Apple Intelligence focused device. Apple’s lawyers argued correctly that the iPhone 16 launched with many features that enhanced the user experience.

"the second Tuesday of next week" does not exist. It's a joke...there's only one Tuesday next week.It is not. Joz himself said it’s coming in 2026.
Right over your head! Whoosh!Apple mustve paid u to write this comment. Its not true and everyone knows this, nice try though

They should fight the phone carriers next for forcing us into 36 month contracts upgrades instead of the 24.Wow, I hope we win this lawsuit! I can’t wait to spend the $7.49 we will receive.
If Apple Intelligence is the headlining feature according to their own marketing, how is the iPhone 16 not an Apple Intelligence focused device?Proved nothing
Agree but, without any suits, corporations - even ones that profess to be whiter than white, (cough, cough), would do a lot less to make sure they serve the customer well.Oh I’m not against holding companies accountable but there has to be a way to line up the pockets of the actual aggrieved party and not the fancy lawyers.
Then don't advertise it ON A SPECIFIC DEVICE for the world to see and not be ready until the next phone. It's pretty simple.Being built for something don’t not mean “launch ready”.
All MacBooks starting with the M3 were built for Apple Intelligence. I don’t see anyone complaining.
The PS5 was built for 4K/60fps. How many games. Achieve that
All Tesla’s built since 2018 were “FSD” ready. We’re in 2025. How many successful lawsuits.
The answer to all three is NONE.
Just because it is built for something, does not mean available on day 1. Apple very clearly specified Apple Intelligence is a beta product with more features releasing in the future.
Gemini IIRC Is also available to iOS. I use it on my Samsung phone, it's amazing. I can just ask it to, "I have an appointment on this date,' then it would schedule it by cross referencing my contacts and then search their address to put it on google maps before sending it to my car. It can even play whatever Apple Music playlist from my Airplay speakers. All of my packages are also automatically tracked and placed on the calendar. While waiting for Apple Intelligence I highly suggest people to try out the Gemini App.Unlike many people here, I actually really like AI. Some of the things I’ve seen Google and Samsung phones do is incredible. I want that. I bought the 16 Pro Max because it was the beginning of Apple Intelligence. I had no other reason to upgrade from my 14. It was the AI. I do think Apple should get hammered for this one. They made false promises because they didn’t want to be left behind by other companies. And how many AI features will lock out the 16? Especially with 8GB of RAM.
I did not get the AI I was promised. I got a bunch of balogna.
