This is welcome news because I really do not like the Belkin Anti-Glare I have on my iPhone X. I love the Belkin Glass protector I have on my iPhone 7 Plus, so I will definitely be switching to the glass for my iPhone X next time I stop into the Apple Store.

What's wrong with the anti glare one?
[doublepost=1541915650][/doublepost]
I am super careful with my iPhone X, and it has micro-scratches on it especially where I place my thumb the most to swipe around. Now I have the anti-glare protector on it because I did not want anymore micro-scratches, but I hate the anti-glare protector. Definitely will be getting the glass protector once available at my Apple Store.

I have had every iPhone since the original and the screen on the iPhone X seems to get micro-scratches the easiest out of any other iPhone.

Why do you hate the anti glare one?

Why do you hate the anti glare one?

It is not super clear like the glass one (because it is some sort of plastic like material,) and also it is horrible with fingerprints because it does not have an oleophobic coating. Yes, obviously it does work good as far as glare is concerned but I much prefer the glass protector, which I have on my iPhone XS.

If I get a chance I will take a picture of my iPhone X (with anti-glare) next to my iPhone XS (with glass) and I am confident you will see why I dislike the anti-glare.

Does it make the screen darker or something?

What does that mean exactly?
Like reduce clarity?

Two fold: (1) the screen door effect is like looking at a something through a mesh of some sort. It's very subtle. If you can't imagine it perhaps Google it. (2) The screen protector by being anti-reflective will also act like a prism that some white light will be refracted so you might seem artifacts of a rainbow of colors especially when looking at a white background.

So what would you recommend if you will?

Hows the Glass one working for you so far?

If you want anti-glare, there really isn't much you can do. The Belkin one is actually pretty good in this aspect.

Otherwise I would just get the regular glass screen protector. For the glass one, I would avoid the Belkin since it's quite expensive ($40). My big name brand I go for is Spigen. They sell a two-pack on Amazon for something like $12 shipped.

X/XS: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HRYZFN3/
XS Max: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HRZPYP2/

Sure you can get these cheap ones like 3 for $3, but the Spigen one has a good oleophobic coating and their customer service is superb.

Glass one on my XS is holding up great and the anti-glare on my X is still going strong. Though I am not a huge fan of the anti-glare, I cannot complain with its durability.

So it’s safe to get the invisiglass? I’m just worried about all the bad reviews online about it but love the fact they put it on for you

Well there is not worrying about cost and there is wasting your money.

Belkin one is the latter. The Spigen one I listed doesn't crack randomly either.

That said the whole poi

The anti-glare isn't going to crack since it's plastic, but it will scratch more easily.
