On one hand they showcased how they care about your vision health by having you spend more time in the sunlight and on the other hand they launch this where you spend your entire waking hours behind miniature screens covering your eyes.

Introducing: A whole generation of addicts looking to escape into illusions.

Gaming must be awesome with Vision Pro. Sad Apple has to catch up a lot in gaming on Mac (not hardware but getting AAA-games to MacOS)

So I have a bunch of Apple stuff, Macs, iDevices, HomePods, you name it. I am not even remotely interested in this.
I have a ton of Apple products and am very interested in it. I'm not buying one though. Maybe I can convince my work to buy some for me though (I have a legitimate use for them for educational purposes).

I don't mind it to be honest. Yes it's a science project looking for a use case and ludicrously overpriced and limited. Hopefully Apple getting involved might push this forward (or kill the sector stone dead)? Still can't see much use outside of gaming until or rather if we ever get to Minority Report style augmented reality glasses.

I love this product but I don’t know how to feel about it. Something is wrong, like it’s freaking amazing but I’m sure people will use it for a variety of other purposes (like adult stuff). I’m afraid if it goes mainstream we’ll have a lot of social issues to start discussing today.

And that is the big issue, why? Why would anyone actually need this. I don't mean that in a financial sense, but I don't know that this is actually useful for anyone.

My big questions are price, and how easily severely nearsighted people will be able to use them. (Or share them with normal eyesighted people easily.)

We’re witnessing something here. Are the cynics still about?

The tech might be cool. Just to be honest this might be the second dangerous tech next to A.I. I think nobody is even aware what price they pay if using this tech and I am not even talking dollars, but rather with one's health e.g eyesight and mental state.

That's a gorgeous cardigan the Disney guy is wearing. Even if the bottom button doesn't seem to work.

Yes hardware. Apple sucks at ray tracing, and in GPU altogether. Plus they have no games, no developers yet and none will come to create stuff for this product since almost noone will buy it. I have no idea what were they thinking. Jesus
