Lol idk if you people are being sarcastic here but this has literally 20% of Meta's headset capabilities and the rest is Apple's marketing in action. Meta has nothing to worry about with this cringe device.

Apple used to be revolutionary, now they're always behind. Competition is always good though

Cook is an idiot, and has embarrassed the company.

Then again, they are rolling in dough so who cares!!! LOL
What's the point of calling Tim Cook an idiot. Do you know him personally? Have you worked with or for him? What product launch do you have to your credit? Just because you don't like it doesn't mean Cook is an idiot. All you have to do is NOT buy it.

I think this thread is worth a bookmark and a revisit in 5-7 years. There will be a lot of incorrect hottakes.

Similar to articles in 2007. Threads after the Apple Watch announcement, etc.

This is laying the groundwork for something big. Think glasses in 5-7 years that you wear most of the day. Items you look at at the store will have reviews pop up, HUD while driving, Health information while working out, the ability to zoom with your eyes, etc etc.

Yeah people often don't realize how product development works, you remember the first iPhone and iPad? A lot of skeptical comments as well and we all know how it ended up.

This will be very similar, AR/VR is emerging and coming, Apple did a really good job of building some of the foundations and this is solid for generation 1. I agree the Glasses are at least 3-4 years away, probably more.

Ok, f*ck that brand. I'm done. I'll just spend 50% less for a faster, upgradable PC workstation and tim can shove this piece of garbage up his delusional ***. I'm literally p*ssed. I just wanted a REASONABLE MAC PRO and a display upgrade. Is it really that much to ask after YEARS of waiting?
