We didn’t realize Disney gave us a sneak peek at EyeSight in The Mandalorian.

I'm sure plenty of people will rush to get this..

It's not for me, though. I prefer actual reality, not a projected vision of it.....and what about the social aspect? i watch TV and movies with other people, not by myself.. yay, I need 2-4 of these!

Meh.

I could see me on a scuba dive from the couch in between Zoom meetings at work.

People complaining just don't have the... ahem... vision for a product such as this.

This is the beginning of a very, very cool future. imagine the impact for handicapped folks...

I may be getting ahead of myself, but this is yet again some Dick Tracy, Star Trek future stuff from my childhood dreams.

Wait...so I should have been taking panoramic photos all these years?!? FML!

This a depressingly isolating product ... a post pandemic fail, IMO! Go outside people!

Probably, like the iphone and apple watch...this needs another couple of generation to be a magnificent device
The foundation is good enough but not for the masses
Ar glasses will be the true device for the consumers

Very much agree. The tech is awesome, but in this form factor it doesn't have much appeal. It's like google glass on steroids, but the form factor needs to get there.

It's basically a screen extender

This allows you to put screens of any size in any room. No more large screen TVs with messy cables and requiring physical space, no need for physical computer monitors. You only need to strap on Vision Pro and you have the screens you need that can be resized on-the-fly. Really cool you can connect your Apple Keyboard and Trackpad to the experience.

Rolling out Bob Iger right now was about the most tone deaf thing imaginable.

I will not be buying this idiotic toy that makes you look like a pathetic dork.
"makes you look like a pathetic dork" says all that needs to be said about your maturity, lol. Tell us more about your high school football glory days, please?

I selfishly want this to fail miserably. I don't want to live in a dystopic hell hole where people don't have contact with each other and all live in isolated virtual bubbles controlled by multi-trillion dollar companies. Technology should improve our lives, not control it. I feel is this is taking it too far.

I also don't understand why people want to so badly live in these virtual worlds. You can only use 2 senses in VR/AR - Seeing and hearing. You can't feel a Memoji, you can't taste any virtual foods and you can't smell the virtual worlds.
