So they can release a regular Vision at a lower cost once the product matures a bit, sorta like the HomePod/HomePod mini. Also, Why is Apple calling this a Pro Product? This is first gen. Should have called it Apple Vision.
Pssst... it's blood-powered!Maybe I missed it but where does the cable go? It goes down their back and into their clothes then disappears.
I already hate looking at my phone and have begun using it as a phone 90% of the time, and nothing else. I also enjoy communicating with and being present alongside other human beings.
Don't underestimate the mac pro they just announced. It has the capability to finally bring back a true pro market for Mac. For "reasonable" price, stick with the mac studio and a third party display. Far better option than any of their old pro machines for most users.Ok, f*ck that brand. I'm done. I'll just spend 50% less for a faster, upgradable PC workstation and tim can shove this piece of garbage up his delusional ***. I'm literally p*ssed. I just wanted a REASONABLE MAC PRO and a display upgrade. Is it really that much to ask after YEARS of waiting?
For some of us it is. I was literally waiting over a YEAR to buy a mac workstation. Now I need to think how to invest my money in a different platform - because I'm not buying a workstation that will be obsolete in 2-3 years. I'm literally pi**ed.God bless y'all in the comments. It ain't serious. Have fun.
Exactly - the ultimate eco-system lock-in is at play here - the apps, the tech, the experiences...it's insane...Yeah the naysayers have completely missed the breadth and depth of content this has on day 1 before anyone starts making unique content
it's satire really, and figurative. Obviosuly he's not really an idiot. He'a smart and a good guy. What's the point of calling Tim Cook an idiot. Do you know him personally? Have you worked with or for him? What product launch do you have to your credit? Just because you don't like it doesn't mean Cook is an idiot. All you have to do is NOT buy it.
Or trying to awkwardly edit photos with your eyes and hands.Yeah sure Apple. A DJ will definitely prefer to use his virtual decks/controller instead of interacting 100% with people. This presentation is a crossover episode. I can’t even LOL.
Completely agree. This is super cool and I'd love to play with it. There's no way that I can envision using it with any regularity. To be fair and after reading all the comments. We’d all like to experience this device. We just wouldn’t pay for it? Is what I’m getting. We don’t see what the problem is to this solution?
Fair comment to say.
******* stocks 📈Apple knows VR porn will be the main use for their goggles.
I fully hope that it is. Since it can be used to display a "mac" display, perhaps there's a pathway to this.Hacked to run with SteamVR in 5….4…. 😁
