I like how earlier in the presentation they talked about how important it is to not have screens too close to your eyes.

I'm getting a little deja vu watching this release thread to the iPad thread when it was announced.
The difference, for me, is that I'm not sure what problem this product solves? I'm not sold on Vision Pro as a product segment, whereas the iPad seemed to make perfect sense to me. I'm obviously not the target here.

fantastic piece of technology, but price is killing it... like how many people are going to spend that amount of money for this?

i really would love one of these to try. $3500 + whatever it costs for corrective lenses (around $4000 then.) is very steep for sure, even for a higher income family.

Looks well worth it for getting in on the cutting edge. Looks awesome.
You poor people can wait 5 years and get the 2028 junior version for $500.
What is the different between this and looking at a screen all day at work, or even at home? I don't really see how this product is dystopian, if someone close themselves off from the world with this product it is the users "fault" not the product, and i don't see people doing that anyways, your comment would only be a consern if people used it for 24/7 and i don't see that happening, people will probably wear this way less than what they are currently doing with screen-devices
I didn't like the language when they said "the extended life battery pack". Sounds like an add-on option.
