Hehe its ok. It doesn't matter. Even if you would know the the problem would still exist.

Yeah i really want to try factory reset yet again and or upgrade to 8.1.1 and silently wish it just could go away.
Since i already tried that and the problem still exist, i'm not quite sure if i wanna risk it to try it again..

You did not try 8.1.1 because the jailbreak right?

I already tried the 8.1.1 one and i was sure it had that problem too in the past.
But as from now i'm hesitating if i could just try it again and see if it's there.

And although i tried everything and lost almost 2 days of this issue backup/restoring etc testing the devices in the past.
Reloading old firmware to new and vice versa etc..
Since i really have many photo's and music it takes quite some time do all the backup/restoring work etc.

I understand. I really hope the noise disappears and you can enjoy your device again. If you manage to get it solved would be cool to know. Wish you much luck bro

Meanwhile i'm listening to The weeknd - Often in repeat mode on my phone without using the phone and no static/pop/crack sound.

How so odd this littly pesky issue is ugh..

Yeah i feel you. And the crazy thing is, since you know about the sound, you hear it even better each time

True that, i just can't have the full experience while on safari with the music app.
It kind of ruins my music and safari experience alltogehter, although the rest of the phone is good.

And i hate it that i'm mostly on my phone browsing and listening to music and,
i can't just the problem erased.

I think i'm gonna do a backup to itunes/ send the jailbreak apps list to my e-mail,
backup my whatsapp and contacts to Icloud etc.

And gotta try that 8.1.1 factory reset as new..
if that fails i'm gonna revert back to 8.1 again with an clean install, test it and after jailbreak it.

And meanwhile if that doesn't work i'm going to call T-Mobile again for this issue,
or i can go to a Apple Retailer to get it exchanged.
Or i just sit with this problem and wait for more news regarding firmware issue,
this TLC NAND problem or whatsoever and see what brings next.

Try to get the problem solved in a apple shop. There you will have in my opinion the best service.

Mine has MLC NAND, so yeah.

iPhone 6 64GB purchased in November, checked using SSH method.

There is a batch 64GB MLC yes. But all 128GB are TLC till now. Lucky you.

My cousin has TLC NAND for his iPhone, and he's frustrated. His iPhone was purchased in October.

By the way, is it true that TLC NAND and MLC NAND affect the battery life ? Someone told me that iPhone 6 with MLC NAND should have slightly better battery life.

I changed my mind and i guess i will stay on 8.1 for now with jailbreak, i will see what will happen meanwhile.
I'd keep my eye open at the moment.

Apple Said to Be Stopping Use of TLC NAND Flash in iPhone 6 and 6 Plus After ...

Does the sound only happen in safari? While i was using my air 2 it did i think the same. It sounded like a old radio for a millisecond

Very strange

I bet with you its this ****** nand. But in the end who knows. Im no nand technician. We will see in the future.

I'm not quite sure if it's the tlc nand, i do really hope not..
I really like safari but it seems safari is full of bugs right now. I also have random crashes on it.
And the sound issue only happens on safari and i've been testing the Mercury browser and so far no static, pop/clack sound.

Well to be honest, i hade it 2 times now. Before i guess i did not mention it. It happend while i was using the facebook messenger

Yeah and i thought it was only me.. So there seems to be more.
To adress this issue, it's hardly noticable if you are not an OCD like me lol.
But maybe i stumbled on it as a concidence tho..

Than lets hope its just a bug at the moment. The funny thing is, that now most 64GB units have MLC. While on relase there where also 64 TLC. I guess we that have buyed the 128GB version early are the loosers. Im quite sure in 2 Months all 128GB will also be MLC. Its just a guess. Did you try chrome browser?

I'm going to sleep for now, it's 05:28 in the morning and i haven't slept yet.
I'm going to test it later on to see if it's still there, for the moment thanks for your help mate!
