Apple says 23rd, FedEx says 24th...Which is it?

I posted too soon. About 2 minutes after posting that the FedEx lady dropped it off!!!!

Interesting note - she asked me if it was the new iPhone, because they were told earlier this week not to deliver them until the 24th. But I showed her the email that they were going to be delivered today.

You posted that in MY thread yesterday/last night when I was complaining about something.

Honestly, I really do hope you get your phone today. :)

These pre-orders and the confusion with the deliveries is a mess for everyone.

So IPD lady said you won't get it today and you got it?? Good news for me! Thanks.
 
Called FedEx again (the special department) and they said it is still on the van for delivery.
Hopefully the truck just started on the other end of the street =/

Yep! I called the 800 number above about 3 hours ago to find out where the package was. She said it was at the Denver sort facility and would be delivered tomorrow. And then all of the sudden here it was! :D

Not sure if anyone in PHX has gotten theirs yet -- but the closest I've seen on mine is 6/23/2010 4:30:00 AM PHOENIX, AZ, US Left FedEx Ramp

Don't know if that's the same as "Out for Delivery" but I'm hoping to see the Fedex truck at my house today. Because of the Apple email, I had to schedule to work from home today instead of yesterday. Can't get away with it 2 days in a row just because I'm waiting on a Fedex package.
 
FedEx tracking still shows a delivery date of 6/24 and a location at destination sort facility. But they delivered the phone just under an hour ago. Yay!

Not as bad as the truck pulling up to my house, turning around and driving away.

I callled again and they said it is still on the truck. I figure the other driver was turning around because there was a big truck blocking the road up ahead that I did not see. It is the only explaination.

Wow. I don't think I could handle that!

Ha. Just checked tracking for first time in an hour or so. Now says it's at the local station. The time stamp is 7:30a. So, yeah, tracking is way delayed. Still nothing about it on the vehicle though.

I just called..again..and they said I should get it tonight and if I don't receive it by 4:30 to give them a call back.
I'm losing hope as each half hour passes, though.

Thing is, I've been without a phone for more than a week, so I dont wee where I was at fault.

But unfortunately, nada for today. But its all good. I'd rather know its coming tomorrow than not know anything at all.
 
I got it! Hurray! FedEx didn't fail me. That other truck I saw was just doing exactly what I thought, turning around because it couldn't get through. Time to activate this thing.
 
Burleson, TX... mine showed up at about 2PM local time right about the time Fedex updated to "Out for Delivery"
 
A-rrived. Hooray. Like pulling teeth. Originally sched. for 24th, but did arrive, like everyone else's, today, in spite of what many FedEx CSRs told me. If in doubt call the Int'l CSR line. # posted in this thread somewhere. Regular CSRs are use-less. Now off to activate and sync. :D
 
I was originally stated as having a delivery date of June 23rd with a 10:30AM delivery time, but of course there was a "delivery exception"...

LOVELY!
