Apple says 23rd, FedEx says 24th...Which is it?

Mine just says arrived at Oakland...at like 10 last night.

However, it just arrived:D Tracking info is messed up, don’t worry about it.

You're closer and yours departed earlier, so I'd suspect you have a better chance than I do. Mine left OAK around 2:30 AM and has shown no activity since then. I'm in the Seattle area.

Fedex tracking said that mine was at the sort facility and would not be delivered until tomorrow. It showed up at around 11am this morning. I am activating it now.
 
Fedex tracking still says mine is at the sort facility, but I just got it!!! My 7 year old son took off with it and is yelling my precious and won't give it to me. :eek: He has never even seen Lord of The Rings!
 
Don't worry about FedEx shipping info!!!

Once it gets to either "at dest sorting" or "at local fedex" dont worry about it...I had a estimated delivery time of the 23rd at 1:30 and it never changed to on truck and I just got it minutes ago!! Breathe easy.
 
Just got mine in the mail from fedex around noon. The tracking still says that departed from Memphis TN at 3am last night. I noticed earlier this morning the estimated delivery date disappeared which was originally the 23rd.
 
Fedex us experiencing delays with their tracking. Just FYI. Direct from the website.

Tracking Update for Wednesday, June 23, 2010

Package deliveries are proceeding as normal, however tracking updates are temporarily being delayed. Please try back later."
 
All my tracking info from FedEx said the 24th, but I just received mine this morning. I ordered online at Apple at about 4:00 PST.

Same here. Tracking has always said 24th by 4:30. It showed up at my house almost 2 hours ago. Apparently she went back out to the truck and brought a couple treats for the dogs, too. :)

Tracking still shows it at the airport.
 
Has anyone that had their Fedex tracking info that started working today with a status of, "Shipment information sent to FedEx," received their phone?

My status and the IPD told me the 24th but my status isnt updated. She had In Transit and mines is sitting on Initiated, so maybe there might be some hope for today.
 
Mine was on my porch when I went home for lunch. Last status update was yesterday afternoon and they still estimate delivery tomorrow by 4:30pm :p

I guess their tracking systems are indeed significantly backed-up.

I asked my roommate to check when he goes home for lunch.... never know!
 
yeah my Fedex lady said they are going nuts today when she dropped mine off. At this point I would not even bother tracking anything with them.

Obviously.. doesn't hurt to hope you get your new phone today.

I sure am hoping... but another day is not going to kill me. I don't care either way, but I would prefer if I got it today. Obviously.
 
FWIW, my tracking just a few minutes ago updated to say "at dest sort facility" with a timestamp of 3:54 AM (PDT). So at least in my case, the tracking info seems to be over 6 hours delayed.
 
Has anyone received their phone when IPD said it wasn't going to be delivered until tomorrow? (I'm hoping she was wrong)
