be it the rate or not it's been so clear and obvious that ios 11 is crap and apple know about the situation of ios 11 they know it's one of their worst release ever with a lot of bugs manifested
Comparing a final release of a particular version to essentially early releases of another major version is apples and oranges at best. One of my devices is on 7.1.2, the most current and final version in iOS 7, and it is certainly much better than iOS 11 in lots of ways in terms of simplicity and in general the cohesive presentation and experience.
It's interesting how when adoption rates are higher/better various people say that adoption rates essentially say nothing about satisfaction and that things can be fairly bad for many, and then when supposedly the rates are not as good suddenly the interpretation is that it's clearly an indicator of satisfaction and things are crap and there isn't anything else that could be to it. Nice double standard there to fit things to a narrative.be it the rate or not it's been so clear and obvious that ios 11 is crap and apple know about the situation of ios 11 they know it's one of their worst release ever with a lot of bugs manifested
You could use that "apples and oranges" line for any argument you simply just don't have an answer to. iOS 7 is certainly much better than iOS 11, and certainly more polished.Comparing a final release of a particular version to essentially early releases of another major version is apples and oranges at best.

It's rather clear to anyone that comparing an early major version to a finished major version is not something comparable. It's something that has been discussed many times over the years here and many other places. There's really no debating that aspect of it.You could use that "apples and oranges" line for any argument you simply just don't have an answer to. iOS 7 is certainly much better than iOS 11, and certainly more polished.
I use both concurrently. iOS 7 is a much more polished product compared with iOS11. I can make an informed and impartial comparison. It's rather clear to anyone that comparing an early major version to a finished major version is not something comparable. And if you go back and look through the iOS 7 threads from the same first few months of iOS 7 compare them to iOS 11 threads you will certainly see how that whole "much better" part of it doesn't hold up. You can certainly have your take on it all, but reality speaks for itself.
iOS 7 didn’t start out polished. Anything but. The first release of iOS 7 could be said the same as iOS 11 and 10 and 9 and especially 8; should still be in beta.I use both concurrently. iOS 7 is a much more polished product compared with iOS11. I can make an informed and impartial comparison.
iOS11 should still be in beta.
This really is not the case. First releases of iOS 7 were very polished. iOS 10 was also polished. iOS 11 certainly is not.iOS 7 didn’t start out polished. Anything but. The first release of iOS 7 could be said the same as iOS 11 and 10 and 9 and especially 8; should still be in beta.
I disagree. The first release of iOS 7 had security holes large enough for a tank along with people complaining about performance. iOS 10 first release was not polished at all. We can agree to disagree however on this. This really is not the case. First releases of iOS 7 were very polished. iOS 10 was also polished. iOS 11 certainly is not.

Based on your statement I do not agree with you. I agree the final version of any o/s is more polished than the released version of the next o/s. But I emphatically dont agree the release version of iOS 7 is better than the release version of iOS 11.I don't agree to disagree, because I use both iOS 7 and iOS 11 concurrently.
You are still using a 7.0.x version of iOS 7?I use both concurrently. iOS 7 is a much more polished product compared with iOS11. I can make an informed and impartial comparison.
iOS11 should still be in beta.
They most definitely did not. The iOS 7 forum just here shows that quite well. (iOS 8 or 9, for example, also did not start out well at all.)This really is not the case. First releases of iOS 7 were very polished. iOS 10 was also polished. iOS 11 certainly is not.
iOS 10 still working great on my 7+
too bad there isn't a way to block the auto downloader or turn it off. Wastes space and my limited bandwidth.
Problem is iOS 11 isn’t new and it still has major problems.iOS 7 didn’t start out polished. Anything but. The first release of iOS 7 could be said the same as iOS 11 and 10 and 9 and especially 8; should still be in beta.

I do not agree with this statement. iOS 11.3b1 is very solid with some minor “stuff”. Considering 11.3 will have new and major functionality it’s very polished.Problem is iOS 11 isn’t new and it still has major problems.
I'm also on 9.3.5 6s and after setting iTunes to stop auto updating, my phone has never prompted me with those annoying pop ups anymore. Just make sure you do that and at the same time if iOS did download it to your iPhone already you need to delete it off your phone in setting > general > manage storage if iOS downloaded to your phone it will show thereMy 6S is still on iOS 9.3.5
Effing wish those pop-ups about updating could be turned off, though of course that is how they incentivize one to update.
