Are aesthetics that important if the LG monitors are great spec-wise?

Would it bother you if Apple farmed out manufacturing of the next iMac model to Dell and it came only in creaky, wobbly black plastic? If so, you've answered your own question.

What happened to the 32" displays they offered with the new Mac Pro? Seems gone. Will the LG UltraFine work on the 2013 Mac Pro with an adapter?

And? Look at what OEMs did to Android, to the point that Google decided to do the Nexus line, and then finally the Pixel. In the early days of Android, everybody was simply making a variation of the G1. Google had to make the Nexus One to nudge the OEMs to do a better phone.

And ?
Android has close to 90% marketshare and Apple has close to 10% marketshare....

Are you aware of that?

Ps. I am an Apple fan so I know there are different versions and way more viruses and so on for Android users..
Still the difference in marketshare is not anything we can neglect. I would love if Apple would let Nokia make IOS phones. Or Microsoft. Just saying.

So? Windows also owns majority of the PC market share.
Yet Apple has more profits than all the Android OEMs combined. As a company, who would you want to be? Apple, or the others?

Perhaps Google or Samsung. If you look at the future. But I don't like them.

But I am not talking which company I want to be, I am talking as an user. I previously wrote that I would like to see Mac OS on some third party computers (preferable non-asian) and I would like Apple for example let Nokia produce a phone that runs IOS (But on this thread lets focus on Mac OS hardware). Windows users have a great deal of manufactures and different setups in different price ranges. All of us mac-fan-boys know that Apple is not giving us Mac users the same amount love as they used to do. Hardware and software wise.

Apple was in that position, and it nearly killed the company. Making profits allow businesses to evolve. Apple now has a series of custom designed and power efficient chips, from the A, S, to W chips. Meanwhile, the likes of Asus or Acer are simply making the same cheap crap for small margins.
Basically you want Apple to be like Asus. Just making cheap laptops.

What nearly killed the company was a CEO who for several years rode momentum and oversaw huge profit gains, and then drove the company into the ground with weak products, high prices, and a lack of innovation.

More like lost of focus by diluting the Apple brand, which seems to be what everybody wants now. Seriously, if you want Apple to be like another Acer or Asus selling cheap laptops, just buy an Acer or Asus.
People throw the word innovation around, but nobody seems to even know the meaning of innovation.

Yes but the topic is that Apple is killing itself (on the Mac plattform Like Mac Pro and so on, Aperture, Iwork 09 and so on..... as they mainly focus on the IOS eco-system. So yes I think Apple should license MAC OS to some selected vendors,OR put way more focus on the Mac plattform (and that I would prefer). You can have your opinion thats ok for me, but please let me have my opinion and get of my back.
