It's less than 2 weeks until the rumored event and it hasn't been confirmed yet by Apple. Maybe they are pushing back the date of the event?

They've left it as short as a week before. I expect an announcement next week (Tuesday-Friday) with the event taking place on the 6th, a Tuesday.

iOS 10 will have 10 betas.

It's like scratch and win lotto - you DL the new beta and once in a while you are rewarded with a new feature or performance enhancement.

Have not found a golden nugget yet on this version

I was able to update, but it said beta 7 in software update. This has happened to me in the last few updates and it always updates me to the latest beta. Build number after update is, 14A5346a.

Just tried it, no luck at all.

Same here. Deleting and reinstalling the Dev Beta profile after DB8 showed up in the Dev site fixed nothing.

i don't recall there being this many betas and a short gap between the last beta and GM version.

Nothing to even push back or cut close to since no date for anything has been announced.
