Reset my Apple ID security questions and now it has successfully found the Beta 8 update.

I know. And people still ask so hopefully when they've read it enough times, it'll get in their head!!

I wouldn't mind but it's only 10:15am in Cupertino, that's still early. Not to mention that the invites could go out next week, Monday-Tuesday maybe, it's not like there needs to be a lot of time between the event and the invites being sent out.

i don't recall there being this many betas and a short gap between the last beta and GM version.

Pretty small size for this update. Security fixes only from what they did with iOS 9.3.5? If so maybe this was released only so beta users are not affected and work on GM had been done already earlier?

Yes bug/feedback submitted, just haven't seen/heard anyone else experiencing the issue.

How do you expect Apple to use the screen real estate in the settings app eh? I'll donate to you if you come up with a better more efficient design for that specific part of the app.

I was able to update, but it said beta 7 in software update. This has happened to me in the last few updates and it always updates me to the latest beta. Build number after update is, 14A5346a.

PB tester here.

The Public Beta is one behind the Developer Beta. So, you're on the correct one. PB=Beta 7. DB=Beta8.

I had some app updates be weird at some points this past week. Seemed to have worked itself out though as the week went on so I'm not sure if it was only server side issues.
