Anyone know if this fixes FaceTime Audio yet? It's been so broken on iOS 11, unable to transition from WiFi to 3G/LTE etc without dumping the call. *prays it's fixed*
I haven't had any issues with FT Audio. Have you placed a bug report?

Yes. How often do you walk out of WiFi range or move between two routers on the same SSID? It doesn't work for me in Seattle on iOS 11, nor for my friend in London - both of us with 7 Plus and current iOS 11 BETAs.

Has the iPhone version adopted the iPad's swipe up/up to access the app switcher yet? Or still requiring double home button tap to get there?

I don't ever see that happening. Since swiping up not only brings up the app switcher, but also control center on the iPad, there is nowhere near enough screen real estate for that on the iPhone. The only way I can ever see that is if they change how control center is accessed.

Lol at the people who think the GM will magically fix all these different issues. 3D Touch lag on the home screen is borderline embarrassing. I really hope there not wrapping these betas up and heading toward a GM, but these small updates lead to believe that's what they're doing. I guess they'll rely on ProMotion and shiny new hardware too distract from terrible performance. Here's to getting great performance by 11.3 in April 2018!

I saw it once with a non-certified cable. The cable worked fine for months and then out of the blue or maybe an iOS update it started getting very unreliable.

So maybe the cable or the charger is to blame. Some chargers need to be unplugged several hours in order to reset. At least those were the troubleshooting instructions Anker sent me once when one port stoppped working on their 5-port charger.

I used an Apple lightning cable with and without the dock, but it eventually charged when plugged into my iMac. Maybe that was it.

Yep 3D Touch has some serious frame drops now from the home screen on my 7 Plus, since updating to iOS 11. I've now doubt the new iPhone will fix this. Planned obsolescence indeed!

Beta 7 has been, to date, the best for battery life and stability.

I've referred a lot of bugs over to the feedback team and have been pleased to get several e-mails back about the issues and detailing fixes. There are still a few rough edges, but hopefully a few more will disappear in the latest release.

Beta 7 was absolute garbage in regards to battery.

I have noticed that battery drain is most of the time caused by either Location Services or an app badly developed that doesn't behave properly. If when in Standby you notice that the battery is draining fast, check for those two possible causes explained above.
There have been days when while in Standby for several hours, the battery of my phone was barely used.

Then explain why battery is perfectly fine on a stable release, then, adding no apps, gets crappy on a beta.. that’s not a rogue app or location services. That’s the beta.

I've been beta'ing for years and ios11 is the first beta to make me want to go back yo previous iOS. I'm worried about iOS 11 on my new iPhone for the first time ever owning an iPhone.
I’m going to give DB 8 about 36 hours to burn in and see how the battery life is. The past 6 hours it seems it has improved somewhat on battery. Won’t know until a full test. I agree with you though, 11 has been the worst beta I’ve been on and I’ve been on a lot.

It's because your phone was designed for iOS 10, hardware wise. iOS 11 is designed for 2017 generation phones (yet to be released) so of course its going to run slower on older hardware. :)

My desktop was designed in 2009 and runs the current Microsoft OS as good if not better than it did with windows 7. Excuses excuses.

Is this as fast and smooth as iOS 10.3.3 on 7 Plus. Or should I wait for GM?
Probably wait til 11.3.3. Actually its not as bad as some here would have you believe. At least on a 6s (cant speak to the 7+) But there are a few areas like 3D menu stutter a bit. Otherwise its pretty fluid and seems fine.

60 MB soooo tiny >.< So close to Public Release! <3 it! Although I'm a little disappointed they didn't add a 3D Touch selection for Wi-Fi / Bluetooth... I put this as a feature request in every round. But NOPE! Le-Sigh!
What are you referring to? There is 3D menu for settings app for those 2 items and in control panel. Is there something else you are speaking of?

It's soooo weird how these betas appear to different people as my phone feels lighter after the update !
That's because you probably did the delta OTA update and @AlphaTeam did the full installer. That would have more bits so naturally be heavier.

I have two routers in my house and I'm able to walk through both of them with seamless wifi. Using 7+ and iOS 11 beta

I'm now able to as of this latest BETA, yay! It also fixed the hitting the lock button not locking the phone properly from the last BETAs (when using AirPods etc - required hitting the lock button twice). Both my friend and I confirm the same changes.

Can someone ask apple to be able to like, thumbs up, or heart a song when the phone is locked!!!! Not just in the Apple Music app. They should let us like a song on the control center too.

Have you tried to leave the cable in the phone and then unplug and plug in the wallmount? Seems to work for others.

Yep. Battery Life is bad still...
Either way, since they will roll out the final update soon, I will probably wipe out the iPhone when the official iOS 11 is out and do a clean install.
