The issue is each release has different problems for different people. iOS 10.3.3 has been awful for me, my battery life took a HUGE dive with it, 3-4% loss in less than an hour with the phone just sitting on a table. With iOS 11 still being in beta and tweaks being made it should be expected that things go wonky, it's a beta after all. 10.3.3 should not be draining battery like that though, that's just not acceptable but .. it's the world we live in.

I have noticed that battery drain is most of the time caused by either Location Services or an app badly developed that doesn't behave properly. If when in Standby you notice that the battery is draining fast, check for those two possible causes explained above.
There have been days when while in Standby for several hours, the battery of my phone was barely used.

Seems to me the both of you should be software engineers.

Writing code is extremely complex, there's no such thing as a bug free OS, some bugs gets squashed, some new will arise.
It's complex, but it's not quantum field theory, also OS X since El Capitan for some reason doesn't feel like that when i install GM.

Wow I’m surprised no one has asked about the App Store icon yet. I’m assuming it hasn’t changed.

Just plain bad, it doesn't look like anything related to an AppStore, more like a bunch of ice cream sticks or sausages:

Anyone with a Dexcom CGM know if this one fixes the unreliable Bluetooth issue? Just for reference, I was on Beta 2-4, and the CGM program would complain that it lost Bluetooth, and I'd have to enable/disable Bluetooth in Settings to get it to read again. It happened every 2-3 hours, and I reverted back to 10.3.3, and the issue went away.

Now, I know that this could be Dexcom's fault, but it stopped/started with the iOS up/downgrade.

After it's a beta, it becomes a buggy .0 initial release, then it becomes a slightly less buggy .0.1 release, and a few months later becomes a pretty good .1 release. About a year later it becomes a great and stable .3.5 or whatever release..and then it dies an early death to make way for the next buggy mess.
That's the problem. By the time it gets good its almost September.

I actually like it.

Also being a coder doesn't make you immune from overlooking things or making mistakes and definitely doesn't make you all knowing, so that nobody can say anything about it like that coder or coders are the supreme authority.

I noticed it a while back. But it actually does not allow you to login to the apps. This is the same for other recent adds to the beta. Hopefully on Sept. 12 or soon there after.

Yeah I got message saying I can set my provider to DirecTV NOW but I still have to log in to each app individually. Hope that gets fixed or whats the point?! LOL

Is AirPlay 2 enabled yet?

Since there are no AirPlay 2 speakers yet, you might need multiple Apple TV's (running the Beta tvOS) to test it.

It's a beta, you shouldn't ask about such things. The icon will be fixed and stable in the final GM in a couple of weeks. You needn't worry your non-developer mind about such things.

/s
Careful. The Mods will send you a tsk tsk for teasing another member...

Back on topic - anyone having an issue where Exchange servers aren't syncing right with iOS 11 or that notifications (particularly iMessages and Text Messages) are self-clearing from the lock screen within about 1 second of presenting on the lock screen?
Definitely imessages are self clearing. Quite annoying.

Funny story. I took my 7 in to the local Apple Store post-10.3.3 and asked them to test the battery. In 10 minutes, sitting in front of the tech, the battery dropped 19 percent while on WiFi and with no apps running. The phone also got hot enough that I probably could have used it to cook food. The tech ran his tests and said everything was OK, that is was normal behavior because my phone's charge capacity was down to 83%, and that the timing was merely coincidental because it could not be related to 10.3.3 since 10.3.3 was only a security update that did not do anything to hardware. (It was at this point that I began having fun and got moved up through the Genius ranks.)

So you *knew* the software was at fault but you berated someone who has nothing to do about that anyway? What a loser.

Whoaaa there, pull back on the reigns a bit. Nowhere did I say that I berated anyone, nor did I say that I "*knew*" anything.

I think it has to do more with the providers and their verification schemes. It's the same on AppleTV. What's more frustrating is when it "forgets" your credentials to days later, and makes you go through verification again.
