Is anyone getting a pop up dialogue to update the iOS?
I am on this latest public beta, and I am getting the message upon the screen unlock.
Me. Twice. Once before I updated, and another one right after I had updated.

Yeah, before I thought it might be a troubling sign, but people on the forums helped me realize it's probably a good thing. They are supposedly changing a lot under the hood, so I'm hoping for a really stable update.I think I've installed 4 public betas in about a week time.

True, this is a good thing. Let's hope Apple won't go one step back again with iOS 13.
Hah, yeah I was thinking maybe we'll just get a great one every six years. Sigh…It's on!

Six versions later we might have a decent operating system again! I'm pumped for it!

Nope. But this guy claims it will be, and I’m curious as to how he knows this.....
come on...he's obviously speculating... and with good reason, in previous betas (ie, the past 9 years) more frequent beta releases = close to GM.Source?
The GM is not a beta. And it will actually be released after the Special Event keynote as “iOS 12”Gold master next week

Same here.I’ve been using the public beta since the first release with no issues with RSA SecureID app.

Right?! I just did some work on FindFriends and it was so responsive and then I did some more digging around and everything honestly is noticeably faster! I’m on an 8+Holy cow. My x feels twice as fast! Did they update the animations?
People don’t come to this thread for “false” info or people spreading info that just isn’t true....
How does “close to GM” equal next week? Enlighten us, please
Anyone know how Runkeeper works on the iPhone X with this most recent release?
This has been present in ios 11. It's still present in ios 12. Recently added is the default view when you open the music appI’m not running the betas but can anyone who is confirm for me that Apple Music now allows you to organise/sort your music as “recently added”. I never renewed my Apple Music subscription back when it first launched due to this feature not being present. Today I finally renewed and I can’t believe this feature still isn’t available in the current iOS. This is literally a make or break for me. If this feature isn’t within iOS 12, I’ll be sticking with Spotify.
iOS 12 has made me fall in love with iOS again. It just doesn’t fail. It works quickly and is rock solid for me so far. I’m with you on this one.I'm more excited about iOS 12 than a slightly better iPhone X.
Gotta wait for iOS 18 to have another amazing improvement.Hah, yeah I was thinking maybe we'll just get a great one every six years. Sigh…
Well, may I suggest that you join the beta program to test and report on issues with iOS12 not in order to merely better your own experience with the final product, but to improve upon the experience for the majority of iOS users. In other words, beta test to serve the common good rather than your own narrow set of interests.
On topic: updated on my iPad mini 2. This small wonderful device has actually become usable again.
There is only ONE feature I'm looking forward to in iOS 12 that could maybe coax me off of iOS 9—Stability and speed improvements over iOS 11 (I guess that's two).
Crossing my fingers (and definitely not messing around w a beta).
But iOS 10 is more stable and faster than iOS 9, so you should have updated to 10 at least. Either way iOS 12 is an improvement over 11 so no worries there. There is only ONE feature I'm looking forward to in iOS 12 that could maybe coax me off of iOS 9—Stability and speed improvements over iOS 11 (I guess that's two).
