Prematurely? There has been some history of weekly beta updates.

Based on previous OSs, GM probably won't be until the last week of August or the first week or September. Usually, it's very close to when they have their keynote.

Thank you. Very helpful. I will remember, remember the 9th on August. And probably the 14th. Oh, the 14th.

They want the coolest messaging app, so iMessage becomes a selling point for iPhone again.

You can take away the icon, but probably not the memory usage.

Play is one word you could use. Facilitate might be another.

Big selling point would be if it can speak to other messengers as well. But I do understand your point. I only think it's a little late now because the share of iPhones are rapidly schrinking where I live.

Hey devs! Any upgrades/changes to the (Apple) Music app?

There are at least two features I'm missing so far:

    1. Star ratings
    2. Add to up next (when you already have something in the "up next " queue)

    Thnx

Because a lot more than just a few people use iMessage.

Thanks for helping me open my eyes, because there are no changes in iOS 10 developer beta 5, I'm going to buy the same phone as you.

Don't remind me that vacations are ending :(

    Turn off for what?

I prefer my method: stop talking with people who don't have iMessage.

Maybe, I do know what Apple does. That being said, maybe you are also right. That being said, releasing new beta software with absolutely no information about what has changed, just means that Apple is not doing because they want better quality, or because they want testers, they are just doing it for the publicity. That is not IMO very valuable in the overall scheme of things as it relates to quality.

It couldn't be removed in the previous beta. Can it be removed now?

I haven't used it for like two years. And in my family, everyone owns an iPhone. Same story. We use WhatsApp here. Actually, WhatsApp is by far the most popular messaging service in the Netherlands. :p

Can we please have the typing sound changed back to the original? For the love of God, the new sound sounds like a guy in wet socks walking on wet cardboard. Hideous. Makes me mute the phone with every keypress.
