Is it only me, but the nice in-and-out-fading text entry cursor of previous betas is now reverted back to the normal blinking one. Font smoothing still seems to be partially functional.

Huge difference from the previous beta. Lightning-fast speed improvements.

And, Dark Mode coupled with the Solar Gradient desktop is nothing short of stunning.

well, everything is working a lot faster. Chrome is opening without a pause. Everything seems a lot smoother...exept for one thing

...Rise of The Tombraider is now very slow. I now get maybe 15 fps on the same settings i had on beta 4. On beta 4 the gameplay was fast (macbook pro 2017 15 inch with radeon 555, core i7)

For the 100th time can someone tell me the trottle fix is included in this beta
for the 101th time if you would read the threat you would know the answer is NO. Mojave does NOT include any fixes or any ktexts act for any of the 2018 MacBooks. Apple will NOT start optimizing till next release

Good point, the best bet would be to use internet recovery IMO to get the bits from Apple. I think for a while the 2018 HS file was not even available correct?
[doublepost=1532972384][/doublepost]Curious if this includes the performance updates that came out as a patch for HS last week for the 2018 MBP?
it does NOT, Mojave is currently NOT made for 2018 MacBooks and does not include any ktexts OR optimizations for 2018. Apple will start in September on adding support for the 2018 series

That's just minor cosmetic stuff. Not really important. I'd rather they spend time nailing bugs than wasting time on the garnish.

True, but thats what I notice right off the bat. I haven't ever really had significant bugs or problems with my daily work flow editing pictures, school stuff etc. So the cosmetic improvements are more noticeable to people like me under those conditions.

Interesting. What does that mean?

In Australia, I do not see such option on my iPhone, only a Wifi calling toggle.
It means non-iPhone iCloud devices can make calls directly over the internet without needing your iPhone to be on the same network or turned on. It’s up to carriers to implement and is mostly only available in the US

Sorry I had posted a link but noticed the NDA notices at the bottom of every page so I deleted it, and I couldn’t delete the entire post.

This is neat. Currently I do not have additional devices that need this upgrade nor any Australian ISP has this feature. Hope it can be introduced in Australia soon.
