All macOS releases have it too.

Just open Safari and type the following into the address bar:
Code:
applefeedback://

Or search for Feedback Assistant in Spotlight.

Apple expects users to provide detailed problem reports, but they make the Feedback Assistant application painful to use.. On high resolution monitors, the text is too small to read without straining. There is no ability to increase text size. The text entry field is too small to write a detailed problem description and it can't be resized to show more text. Is this a form of suppression to discourage people from sending problem reports?

so in other words no, it still doesn’t support AirPlay 2.

as your linked article states “with AirPlay 2, it's possible to stream to multiple speakers”

on a top of the range MacBook Pro it’s not possible to stream to stereo homepods over the OS.
Therefore it’s not airplay 2, but still the old airplay being implemented at OS level.

I really don’t understand why my old iPhone 6 can do it, but the latest laptop can’t.
Pretty pathetic effort by Apple and their website is totally misleading in not pointing this out on either the HomePod of Catalina webpages.

Well - Airplay 2 has been supported since macOS 10.14 (from around Q1/Q2 2019) - here is a small run through how it works: https://www.the-ambient.com/how-to/use-airplay-on-mac-1578

But still not with the stereo option from a macOS device.

I like the enhanced battery charge optimization feature and i like that is "transparent" to the user.
But I really hope they will let me somehow override it to fully charge the macbook when I need to leave for a trip and want to be sure to use the maximum charge capacity.

Can anyone tell if the icon issue has been resolved??

After some investigation, I found out why this bug occurs.

From what i know this happens when another app can for example open RAR as well, there for, for me as VLC can open RAR files, the RAR file shows incorrect, EXE for example shows correctly but if I installed another app that can as well open EXE files the icon would change as well, seems to be a bug since Catalina first version.

The icon bug happens when you have more than 1 app that can open certain type of file.

I hope this helps understand the bug.

Is this bug fixed on this beta?

It crashes even more than 10.15.4

I've sent almost 4 reports today and I suffered a dozen crashes or no back from sleep issues.

Great update. I will try a fresh install of 10.15.5 and if it doesn't fix the problems, I will return my new MB16.

Guess what's still there....

Wonder what they have actually fixed in the 7 weeks since 10.15.4...

Still cannot believe that this hasn't been fixed - I raised a feedback report November 2019 about this - all I can presume is that apple cannot work out how to fix it...lame if you ask me...
