Anyone else facing an issue with CarPlay in dark mode with reduce transparency on? None of the text within any of the apps is visible with reduce transparency on for me. If I turn reduce transparency off, I am able to see the various text options within each app. Attached is an example of the Settings app with reduced transparency on and dark mode on in CarPlay for me.

I just switched to Apple Music after a decade or so of Spotify.

On iPad and iPhone, when I’m in the app and a song is playing, there is no way to see how far along the track is, the length of the track, etc. You have to touch the little bar with the album art and music controls to see a time bar.

Is this fixed in iOS 26?

I also don’t like on the Mac app how it does show a status bar, but you have to hover your mouse over to actually see the time.
Why not just listen to the music without needing to check status constantly?

I don’t get it. The track scrubber is right underneath the album art along with the song title and artist. What is there to fix?

To the person asking about MagSafe chargers…..my one battery pack that wasn’t working from beta 1 to beta 4, has been working perfectly in beta 5 with no disconnects and reconnects anymore. Finally! lol

Anyone having issues updating their iPad? Can't seem to connect to the update server.

I’m talking about when you are in the standard player mode like here…

there’s no way to tell where you are at in the current track unless you tap on the player controls at the bottom and go into the full screen album art mode.

Spotify iPad and iPhone apps both have ways to tell. iPad there’s a small album art with track position and controls in the bottom left and on iPhone there’s a green bar that shows track position on the mini controls at the bottom.

I hear you. But there’s still about 5 more weeks of beta testing before the public release. It’s too early to make conclusions.
I'd not bet on that… Apple's history with this kind of thing isn't on your side. There may be subtle changes, but Apple has never made significant design language changes after they've shipped betas. They surely didn't do it in the iOS 7 change. Or some of the earlier MacOS X UI shifts. Didn't get to see significant 'fixes' for some of the most terrible design changes until several major releases later. Some things have never gotten fixed. Anyone who has been paying attention to Apple over the past two decades has been witness to a pretty alarming track record of failure to live up to Apple's historical reputation for 'attention to detail'. (At this point, it could be argued that since the track record of failure now surpasses, by time, the record of success, the reputation is now entirely no longer warranted.)
