You know this is beta, and apps crashing can be related to the app not being update for the new iOS yet.
Yes. The app that crashes the most is News, though. It runs fine for a few days then crashes every time it's used for a day. The prior beta just seemed more stable to me.

The sliding by two fingers on the keyboard still does not work in this beta.
If you are referring to iPhone/iPod, that feature was removed in iOS 9 Beta 3/Public Beta 1. Sliding frature was probably intended for iPad only. Like the Low Power Mode where it was previously available to both iPads amd iPods in iOS 9 Beta 1 then became an iPhone only feature starting in iOS 9 Beta 2

Has anyone gotten the new transit directions feature to work on an iPhone 4S in the SF Bay Area? I don't see the option in the maps application. Only options I see are: Drive, Walk, & Apps.

Running public beta. Not having any problems. Battery life has been excellent for me on the betas so far.
Good job (for me) thus far, Apple.

Hmmm... I'm not uneasy about the quality, but time is running out. The next beta will probably be in 3 weeks. That next beta has to be really polished. If not then it's time to worry.

I'm still not liking the new Apple Music app, (or new iTunes in OSX) :( I keep hoping one of the updates will bring a return to sanity.

For some reason my phone now gets very hot whenever it's connected to a charger. Never experienced this before iOS 9...

I have noticed the same in iOS 9 on my iPhone 6 (64GB, AT&T). It got warm in iOS 8 but in iOS 9, in all releases so far, it gets significantly hotter. Even the front/screen feels quite warm while charging.
