I know everyone was excited, but really... DP versions SHOULD come before the PB. If only by a day... or few hours.

Still... this kinda pissed me off, only because - by off chance - I was downloading this probably 5 good minutes before the article even broke. Ah well.

Also adds an option to disable shake mouse pointer to locate. I will post if I find more.

Can't wait for the actual release of El Capitan. From what I've read on commenters here, it's really fast and really stable.

It's faster and far more stable than Yosemite on all fronts, it's what Yosemite should've been released as. I'm happy but it is not "really fast", Windows 10 is faster for me on the same hardware. I suspect it has to do with Retina scaling works but still it is slower than it should be.

DB4/5 regressed in stability, I've had kernel panics in DB 4 and 5 and hangs that didn't exist in DB1-3. I'm hoping DB6 soon will fix it.

Being fired for releasing too early would encourage many devops to find new roles.

It's either a gung-ho marketing drone saying to get it out, a project manager with something to prove, or a product manager who wanted to get a fix in before something awful is found. But don't blame the devop for doing as told.

That's weird. I was able to complete the download about 10 minutes ago, and my computer restarted and all, but it appears that I'm still on public beta 4. PB5 no longer shows up in the App Store as many other people have described.

The Appstore isn't recognizing the Beta prob cos it was pulled.

Let's see how Apple solves this problem.

I hope the DP beta 7 will finally fix the PTPCamera process bug, I get so tired of force-quitting multiple processes. I hope Safari will be more stable--I've been using Chrome until they do. notifyd process bug also needs a fix.

Just bear in mind Windows doesn't do full animations when windows are opening or minimising. There's a fade in and fade out in the middle of the animation that makes animations appear very quick. OSX actually does animate every frame of the scaling and zooming animations.

I thought that was just my Mac. It is consuming processing power like crazy since the last beta. I noticed that it only does that when my iPhone is connected by USB.
