Doubtful. Are you forgetting the 8.3 update that bricked some 6+'s?Someone just got fire at Apple...
Does it matter. They pulled an update, it didn't auto-destruct your Mac or anything. This is not the first time it happens under TC's watch...
Doubt it. No harm.Someone just got fire at Apple...
The Calendar welcome screen is present in previous betas, but the setting to disable shake to find cursor is new! Also adds a new Calendar welcome screen and an option to disable shake mouse pointer to locate. I will post if I find more.

Can't wait for the actual release of El Capitan. From what I've read on commenters here, it's really fast and really stable.

That's weird. I was able to complete the download about 10 minutes ago, and my computer restarted and all, but it appears that I'm still on public beta 4. PB5 no longer shows up in the App Store as many other people have described.
I'm guessing because they accidentally released the Public Beta instead of the Developer Preview. The beta was apparently withdrawn by Apple. What could be the reason?
Doubt it. No harm.
It's faster and far more stable than Yosemite on all fronts, it's what Yosemite should've been released as. I'm happy but it is not "really fast", Windows 10 is faster for me on the same hardware. I suspect it has to do with Retina scaling works but still it is slower than it should be.
I hope the DP beta 7 will finally fix the PTPCamera process bug, I get so tired of force-quitting multiple processes. I hope Safari will be more stable--I've been using Chrome until they do. notifyd process bug also needs a fix.
