It's actually 10.0.1
10.0.1 was actually the initial public release of iOS 10 (they flashed the first batch of phones for shipment with a version if iOS that they subsequently revised, but in order for iOS to actually detect a new update they couldn't just revise the build number they had to do a complete version bump).

Don't have that bug. iPhone 6, iOS 10.0.1.

So if you go into Safari, go to Google and type the number 1, then press the space bar, it goes back to ABC automatically? It only happens in Safari. Every other app is 100% normal.

I'm on 10.0.1
It's 2.34 GHz

Never seen Apple overclock through any software update though

My guess is they underclocked the processor initially. This way the update seems more substantial.

I bet Apple will sell a proprietary water-cooling system to account for the extra heat coming off the cpu as well. This will, of course, require an extra proprietary battery pack and will come with at least two dongles.

Don't have that bug either 7 Plus

I have tested over 20 iPhones and 15 iPads. Every single one of them have the bug.

Go to a text box in Safari, type the number 1. Hit the space bar. Does it automatically go back ABC mode? Mind you this is for Apple stock keyboard.

Has anyone checked if Photos facetag sync across devices is enabled the new beta(s)?

Tmobile Carrier Update was released with this as well (25.5.1), I hope this fixes the issues i was having with 25.2

I do not have this on my 7 plus on 10.0.1

Where '123' mode won't automatically switch back to 'abc' after hitting the space bar.

Open a safari tab, click into the address bar, click on the number icon on the keyboard, now enter a few numbers, press space twice so that a "." appears. Now your keyboard is still showing numbers instead of letters.

Info: iPhone 6 with iOS 10.0.1

Edit: But I don't have that problem if I enter the text in safari in the text field on a forum or in notes. Where else does the problem occur and which setup do you have?

You're right: it does not work in url bar in Safari. Nevertheless, it works everywhere else which makes me believe this was done on purpose.

No, it doesn't work anywhere in Safari. MacRumors, Google, anything. I'm 100% sure its a bug because Apple has asked for logs after the issue has occurred.

So far iOS 10 is my favorite iOS to date. Speeding up the effects greatly enhanced its usability. Even the fingerprint sensor seems to work faster on my 6 Plus, which is probably just because of how the unlocking process is streamlined.

Well done, Apple. Now add a Finder to iOS.

They are almost there. Spotlight + iCloud Drive + a few integration tweaks = 'iOS Finder'

It doesn't change keyboard for me. Still on 10.0.1. If I'm typing in a text box it does change back to the alpha keyboard.

Somebody please post GB4 scores for 7/7 Plus. Wonder if scores increased or the core frequency is not properly read.

You are right about the safari "search engine" field (and as mentioned before address field), but if I go to google.com and enter numbers on the webpage itself, it changes right after to letters. What device are you using?
Was it the case before with the safari search engine box?

iPhone 6 - iOS 10.0.1

Only enter 1 number. The bug only occurs if you enter 1 character, like a comma or one number. 2 or more characters and it does not happen.

I've tested it on 6s, 6sPlus, 7, 7Plus. It started in 10.0 Beta 7.

Ok, I can confirm this as well. Whenever I enter the 2nd number it goes back to the letters, but after one number - even if I hit space twice - it stays with the numbers. What a weired bug though.
