I will blame you if i buy an iPhone 7 Plus because of this picture
[doublepost=1474483048][/doublepost]
Do you have a Mac with Sierra? My 5s was hot like hell in the morning and kept drawning battery/cellular till 12:00 AM. Maybe something with iCloud Drive? Or iCloud Photos?

Sorry no, i just download the old ios 9.3.5 firmware from ipsw and i guess im gonna do it....=(

I would like slide to unlock back. This press home to unlock is stupid. I can't get around it with the fingerprint to unlock either. I work construction therefore my fingerprint is never the same. This update is terrible. Please make the option to slide to unlock. Now I would like my old style messageing back these new features are unneeded. Stop adding new useless features and just make these phones work faster, with less glitches. Thanks.

I can confirm that bluetooth audio is still an issue with this 10.1 build on BMWs and iDrive.

Does it fix the lag when closing apps and scrolling the multitasking app cards on iPhone 7?
this, please! it is such a weird slight stutter when closing an app but ever since someone posted about it, i cannot unsee...

Strange, maybe it's model specific, i have ios 10 installed on a 6s plus

Found this:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencet...lain-iOS-10-reduced-battery-life-devices.html

Yeah i know its the dailymail however it is not another catholic tech spam site.

Im not alone regarding the iphone 6s:

PracTactical, Perth Amboy, United States, 24 minutes ago

I was a beta tester, it drained quickly and they fixed it with an update...however the "final release" is killing my battery in half the time....not sure what they did wrong with this public version...but my iPhone 6S used to last all day, not it's drained in half that time.....

But good reviews regarding iphone 6s plus apparently:

apple.r0cks, SF Bay Area, United States, 29 minutes ago

More Andr0id 1diots commenting about things they know nothing of. My 6s Plus (last year's iPhone) is flying on iOS 10 and the battery drain is same as iOS 9. iOS is the finest mobile operating system in the world. Android is a joke. Even Windows mobile OS is far superior.

I'm gonna downgrade here...hope the process don't mess with my phone...=(

The light here is not that great I think that's why.

If you just press the home button, you can enter your password as you normally would. Probably even easier than sliding with construction fingers.

Definitely one of the only things that gets me in Safari, and one of the bigger annoyances of iOS 10 for me.

Yeah, it's quite strange how it works out like that.

This is one of the few things I dislike about iOS 10. For years when I typed a period or comma on my phone it reverted back to letters, not I type a series of numbers or special characters.

Is the consensus that this is a big or a feature?

Considering Safari seems to be the only place where that is happening it sounds like more of a bug.

Safari keyboard bug

Safari keyboard bug still exists.

Did it fix that annoying keyboard bug in Safari?

What bug?

Where '123' mode won't automatically switch back to 'abc' after hitting the space bar.

Most likely the one where the keyboard doesn't automatically revert to the one with letters after punctuation is used.

So if you go into Safari, go to Google and type the number 1, then press the space bar, it goes back to ABC automatically? It only happens in Safari. Every other app is 100% normal.

I have tested over 20 iPhones and 15 iPads. Every single one of them have the bug.

Go to a text box in Safari, type the number 1. Hit the space bar. Does it automatically go back ABC mode? Mind you this is for Apple stock keyboard.

Open a safari tab, click into the address bar, click on the number icon on the keyboard, now enter a few numbers, press space twice so that a "." appears. Now your keyboard is still showing numbers instead of letters.

Info: iPhone 6 with iOS 10.0.1

Edit: But I don't have that problem if I enter the text in safari in the text field on a forum or in notes. Where else does the problem occur and which setup do you have?

No, it doesn't work anywhere in Safari. MacRumors, Google, anything. I'm 100% sure its a bug because Apple has asked for logs after the issue has occurred.

You are right about the safari "search engine" field (and as mentioned before address field), but if I go to google.com and enter numbers on the webpage itself, it changes right after to letters. What device are you using?
Was it the case before with the safari search engine box?

Only enter 1 number. The bug only occurs if you enter 1 character, like a comma or one number. 2 or more characters and it does not happen.

I've tested it on 6s, 6sPlus, 7, 7Plus. It started in 10.0 Beta 7.

Ok, I can confirm this as well. Whenever I enter the 2nd number it goes back to the letters, but after one number - even if I hit space twice - it stays with the numbers. What a weired bug though.

Considering Safari seems to be the only place where that is happening it sounds like more of a bug.

Yeah, I know, I was just annoying quoting everyone. But I wanted to get this wrapped up into one place so everyone is on the same page.

First off, the behavior in the URL/Search field is likely purposeful, since the idea COULD BE that you're typing in an IP address. That it sticks to numbers EVEN IF you use some other form of punctuation like a dash or comma or a semicolon should probably be reported as bug in and of itself (since only numbers, periods, and maybe colons are allowed in IP addressing). I tested, and this behavior is the same as far back as iOS 9.3.3.

However, SECOND, the observed behavior in OTHER text fields as of iOS 10b7 does NOT occur on 9.3.3 (I'm assuming, since Mlrollin91 specified iOS10b7, it WAS observed there first). It would seem that perhaps Apple is re-using the same Keyboard switching logic/code from the URL/Search field in all text fields, which would be, IMHO and apparently others', WRONG.

So, for the record, wrong behavior albeit likely "works as intended" in the URL/Search field that has been going on for a while, wrong/weird/annoying behavior in all text fields in Safari since iOS10b7. Two bugs. Might want to update Apple in that fashion, make sure they understand where you're seeing it (they sometimes can be aggravatingly dense on such things). [I don't have iOS 10 installed on anything to test, but I keep notes on Known Issues because I have clients. Who complain. So I greatly appreciate the reporting and the detail. ;)]

Tmobile Carrier Update was released with this as well (25.5.1), I hope this fixes the issues i was having with 25.2

It's made it worse. I now have No Service. I've done a network reset and powered off and on several times, still NO Service with T-Mobile.

Update: After letting my iPhone sit for an hour with No Service, edge popped up, then 4G and now LTE. Hopefully this has fixed the problem.

I have been in contact with Apple through the feedback app and Radar. They have bene pulling logs from me and are aware its only during text fields in Safari. Remember, it does not happen with 3rd party keyboards.

You could be right but then it still does not make sense to stick to the numbers after hitting space (even multiple times).

Thanks for collecting all those quotes :).

iOS 10 has been described by Apple as the "biggest release ever" for iOS uses, with features that include a redesigned Lock screen, a Siri SDK to allow third-party apps to integrate with Siri, and a completely overhauled Messages app with stickers, a full App Store, Digital Touch, Bubble Effects, and more.

I have a brand new iPhone 7 and the latest 9.7 iPad Pro that I bought for hardware reasons ... but this software release BS just speaks to the silliness of Apple to describe it as the BIGGEST RELEASE EVER ... it's teenager stuff.

I hope this fix will allow me to watch videos on my iPad. Currently I have to turn it off and back on to get videos to play.

Why not release the whole thing correctly at once? Instead of working on the design, I pray that iOS 11 solves most of the idiotic bugs that every iOS release has...

Nevertheless, I am loving iOS10

But that's what most of the people wants to be sincere tons of emoticons to send...personally i think the notification system is an improvement over 9 however the battery issues i'm having with ios 10 make it not worth it at least right now.

How much for this beta to become official? 2? 3? weeks? that's a lot of time and i really doubt it will fix the battery issues some of us are having.
