Apple today seeded the first beta of an upcoming iOS 10.3.2 update to developers, just one day after introducing iOS 10.3, which included features like a new Find My AirPods feature and Apple File System.

Registered developers can download the iOS 10.3.2 update from the Apple Developer Center or over-the-air with the proper configuration profile installed.

We don't yet know what features or improvements are coming in iOS 10.3.2 as Apple doesn't offer detailed release notes, but as a minor 10.x.x update, we can expect it to focus on bug fixes and under-the-hood performance improvements rather than major new features. Apple does say the update fixes the new SiriKit car commands, which should now work as expected.

Should anything new be found in the iOS 10.3.2 beta, we'll update this post.

What happened to 10.3.1?

I guess we'll be waiting until iOS 11 Beta 1 in June for new features. Right now, it's all about under the hood improvements. This is expected as Apple wants iOS 10 as stable as possible before iOS 11 officially comes out this Fall.

Good thing is, we only have to wait until June 5 to get iOS 11 beta. Not long away.

Ugh. I pulled all of the Beta Profiles in my devices - too close to WWDC for me, 10.3 is frickin' bang on for now…

Time for an Obsidian Stout, with a Bushmills 16 back!

Probably will include Clips.

And i'm assuming this is the final (or one of final) update for iOS 10. It's been fun, but we have a 10th anniversary iPhone to look forward to now.

Beginning in 2016, Apple made the decision to use it's mid-cycle iOS release to incorporate "major" Enterprise and School level under-the-hood changes for MDM management. They wanted to get these large MDM features out of the major X.x iOS releases so they could focus on User based feature enhancements. This accomplishes multiple things. It allows for Enterprise customers to certify the new X.x iOS release for use much faster since the major MDM features were already included in the previous X.3 release. Second, it allows the MDM companies to support the new X.x iOS release since their server code does not have to change much, if at all to support the new iOS on Day 1.

10.3 may not seem like much to 90% of the users but there were a ton of under-the-hood improvements made.
