Those are both true for me. In Safari when you scroll down and then hit the status bar on top, it finishes by slowly bringing up the top of the page. And I believe the switching between apps, like if your in the App Store and go to updates and just click Open, it's a new switcher.

Thanks, you are right!

I was just on the phone and the lil home tab for the iPhone x was on the bottom. had to have been a glitch cant seem to recreate that again

Definitely upgrading. 11.0 and 11.0.1 are the worst versions I've used in a long time. If 11.1 doesn't help it's back to 10.3.3 until the spring comes around bringing 11.3.

you might want to hurry back to 10.3.3. Apple may not let you. I thought they only allow to go back for a certain amount of time then once they dont allow you, you cant...

From what I can tell...

No Airplay 2 :(
No Apple Pay in Messages :(
No iMessage in the Cloud :(

Can't find much new at all for a 11.X update. Haven't had a chance to dig deep yet.

And yes trollers, Safari is snappier and the Battery life is amazing!

There is a new shut down button under general at the bottom under reset. That is the only new feature I can see.

Even without looking at these forums, I don’t think I’ve encountered one person in my day-to-day life who has updated who hasn’t had some kind of issue.
Yes, unlike every windows and Android update ever, and for that matter any OS update in history because they all launch completely flawless every time no matter what device they are installed on. Bugs are only an iOS problem and they have nothing to do with applications. It's strictly Apple's fault. I blame Tim Cook personally. There were no iOS bugs under Steve.

Can someone with an 8 or 8 plus that was having the crackling/static earpiece issue report in if it's fixed with this beta?

Apple Pay and iMessages in the cloud both “coming soon” and they removed 3D Touch app switching... yup, it’s what they’re doing.

iOS 11 makes it pretty evident that they just can't keep up with the yearly release schedule. They need to loosen it up a little, though I'm not sure how they could pull that off. It's tricky because the hardware releases yearly, so it makes sense to sync up OS updates. But considering that they weren't able to deliver iPhone X on time, maybe they shouldn't aim for yearly hardware updates either.

I've seen some horrible Android updates that have made devices practically useless, but at least there is a way to revert back to a previous version. I wish Apple maintained the previous major version for a little while longer, allowed reverting to it, and delivered security updates to it. But I understand why they don't, it's in their best interest to get the majority of devices on to the latest.
