While dreaming a few more days won’t hurt as we have been dreaming for that for a couple of years now, being realistic is also good to keep the head clear.
Pretty ignorant to think there isn't. As long as Apple keeps iOS walled off (which they likely will forever), there will be a Jailbreak community. iOS still doesn't do everything for everyone.
You mistake "rumored" for "wished for." I don't even recall actual rumors—again, not concepts or user wishes—regarding iOS 12 having a dark mode.And iOS12

I mean, I play pretty close attention, but I understand how to separate nonsensical YouTube and Dribbble “concepts” from rumors. If we're lucky Apple will stop hating folks who download content for offline viewing to their iPads. I didn't think the UI in the TV app could get worse, but yes, yes it did. Seriously, merging TV shows and Movies into one section? Not to mention square checkboxes that have no apparent meaning, the removal of watched/unwatched icons, and all the rest of the wasted UI space that's only relevant if you're streaming.
