Installing on my 2020 11" iPad Pro now...

Ask any questions.

Question, does your Mail now have 3 panes like it does on the iPad Pro 12.9"

Yes it does, but it doesn’t show them simultaneously. It grays out the far right pane slightly. Looks and works nice.

Oh well. I was hoping you could have it on the full time like I can on my 2015 iPad Pro 12.9". I've been wanting to upgrade to a newer iPad Pro, but cannot justify the cost of a new 12.9" yet. For me, that view is imperative on Mail, especially when you have multiple email accounts

Installed on my iPad and iPhone and at first glance things seem pretty stable and snappy. Outlook, Teams, iMessage, Apollo, and Telegram all work and that’s 99% of my utilization. Safari is working great as well.

This is the confirmation I needed to make the jump ... i was too nervous those wont work .... how about Office?

I know how this is going to go... In a couple of hours we will have people here complaining about battery drain, about overheating, about WhatsApp, Instagram, and whatever else not working... Then they will ask how to downgrade. Once they finally downgrade they'll realize possible outcomes such as an updated Photos library that is no longer compatible with iOS13, or that their Notes have disappeared, etc... Every year, same story.

I'm going to wait till the public beta... Banking, financial and security apps always need to be update to recognize a new major OS

Amazingly enough, the YouTube app works. :)

Safari and anything that relies on it (I assume all 3rd party browsers, html rendering in readers, email apps) is super buggy on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Running iOS 14 (18A5301v).

Is there anyway to reset Safari settings to default? Most websites have bad delays and some don't load. For example, Facebook tries to load and errors out: "A problem repeatedly occurred on "https://m.facebook.com."" Maybe there's something off on my iPhone. Who knows. This is what I get for playing with beta 1!

Picture-in-picture is a game changer.

i’ve been watching Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Twitch and anime non-stop while typing emails, sending messages, browsing sites, posting this reply and checking the rest of iOS 14 on my iPhone 11 Pro. It’s 👌🏼...dare I say it; might even be worth buying a Pro Max sized phone for.

Does YouTube PiP only work in-browser, or via the app as well?

This is the most excited I’ve been for iOS in a while. It’s very clean and simple without feeling overwhelming. You can make your home screens work how you want them too. I am beyond stoked for the iPhone 12. The animations are silky smooth and very thought out..imagine how a high refresh rate will make the iPhone experience even better. I can’t get over how much functionality they have added. They absolutely nailed this update.
