Still waiting for a fix for external FW drives and spinning down/sleeping when not in use (drives, not the machine).

Went back to Mountain Lion on my 2009 MBP yesterday, wish I did earlier. Couldnt even watch HD video in Mavericks because the video drivers suck so bad, and the whole thing just felt slow and laggy (Im sure all the extra apps I had to install to bring back basic common sense usability that Apple removed didnt help).

really? I just am not seeing those kind of issues with my mbp.

Maybe they can fix the file system? Having recently gone from 10.6 to 10.9, the worst thing is how slow it is now opening folders and so on. The Time Machine interface lags terribly compared to 10.6 because of this. It also takes far longer to reboot (not that I do so very often).

Anyone have problems connecting to HDMI? My rMBP doesn't pick up my monitor without lots of messing with it.

Mavericks 10.9.2 is very stable for me, no crashes, no problems, no slowdowns.

But then again, I don't see any performance improvements over my previous Mountain Lion (which was also very rock solid, no crashes for a year).

This is new... :apple:

Let's hope for Exchange

Need proper Exchange 2013 support, currently it is terrible (It's insane that you have to rebuild a shared inbox multiple times per day and even Microsoft states that Mac Mail is not supported!)

Since 10.9.2, has anyone else been having issues with Airport? It seems to randomly drop its Internet connection on both my home and work Macs. When I launch Airport Utility and click on the Internet icon, the signal returns. Then it will drop again later. (I sent feedback to Apple; hopefully a fix is on the way.)

Sounds like faulty hardware or perhaps interference with other nearby networks or radio interference in general from for example microwave ovens, cell towers, etc.

Didn't even backread one post. I'm guessing a lot of people are complaining about 7.1 not being released?

Edit: Backreading right now. Surprisingly, complaining is at a minimum.

In that case, that is great news. I don't notice anything quicker on my '12 rMBP running native res yet..

It must be a sign of how tired I am ... I read that as 12' rMBP. Needless to say I was a little confused.

Dear Apple, how about fixing choppy animations when changing spaces and mission control on 13" mid-2010 MBP?

10.9.2 didn't help at all, even after a clean install!

Anyone else noting that "focus on Graphics Drivers" is in every update going way back ? Not that its a bad thing...

Update does not seem to be online right now, I think Apple pulled it....

No. Apple have not pulled it.

New updates don't always show up properly in the downloads section in the mac dev center.

You could try a different browser. Sometimes this works better and if so, you will see this:

10.9.3macdevcenter.jpg

Anyway, it will only give you the seed configuration utility and seed note.

The update itself will come from the mac app store or from a direct link in apple's developer forums.

I just checked the direct links. At least they are still working.

The only issue i have with Mavericks now is the disappearing cursor issue. Everything else is pretty much a peach.

Had this problem sometimes in Safari. I can't remember having that bug again since the time I uninstalled Adobe Flash Player (security reasons).

Audio over HDMI

Hope it fixes output of Audio over HDMI which was working great until 10.9.2 update. Video still OK but no Audio.

choppy animations

I still have choppy animations when i unplug my external monitor, i disabled the clamshell mode with the termincal command sudo nvram boot-args="iog=0x0" and i have a Macbook pro mid 2010

Honestly, I'm starting to doubt that there's a hardware fault with these Nvidia 320m GPUs. For some reason, 9400m seems to do a better job in terms of smoothness of animations.
