Just wanted to add my 2c as I've read a lot of people complaining about the 13.1 beta being buggy, unusable, not ready for release, etc.

I installed it on my iPhone 6s today and have tested out most of my apps, and none had any issues launching or functioning. Mail is working as expected, as is everything else. I am expecting a few glitches here and there as this is a beta, but it's looking remarkably solid from where I'm standing. Others' mileage might vary, but I am happy I installed it as the new features and polish are very welcome.

One example is the new Voice control... "Siri, turn on voice control", "Show numbers", "Tap 10". Great stuff.

get ready for some serious bugs in you venture into 13.1 land.
Yup. So many more problems than iPad OS 13 I am restoring back to 12.4.

PASS!

The developers say this build is so full of bugs, seems like a bad idea to install this on any device at the moment.

PASS!

What do you all recommend doing if we want to stay on beta 13 and skip 13.1 - just turn off auto update or remove the profile? i'm thinking of reverting to 12 - i want a nice smooth data transfer to the new phone. And does this mean no more updates to IOS13 ?? this can't be the GM. Apple really created a mess with this one - they should not have pushed out 13.1 to public beta testers.

you can also just go back to 13 and delete the beta profile.

I removed the profile and am staying on 13.0. - Apple should have given us an explanation/warning before this did this - rather stupid on their part.

If you are on 13 and deleted the beta profile you should get the official release unless the most recent (beta 8) is the GM 13. No one has facts and it’s all a guess right now.
That is a fact now. I updated from iOS 13.0 beta (17A5572a) to the current public 13.0 (17A577)

This again? Really?

Apple doesn't lock down the GM of the annual x.0 release until the day before the iPhone announcement event, which means it is not being pre-installed on anything prior to then. Going by normal patterns, that means Apple would not be installing 13.0 on anything at any factory prior to September 10th. The phones don't leave the factory until 24-48 hours before launch day (probably Sept. 20), so they have plenty of time to install the GM. Normally.

But now that Apple has clearly stopped development of 13.0 and moved on to 13.1 more than 2 weeks before they would usually lock, that's a good indication that 13.0 is not happening at all. 13.1 is the new release candidate, likely because 13.0 was not going to be releasable, and something about 13.1 made them feel they could get where they needed to be sooner. Of course, here we are at Aug. 28th and haven't seen invite for the September event either. If we don't see one by Friday, it is pretty safe bet that everything is delayed, until 13.1 GM can be established.

We don't really know exactly what is going on, but I tell you confidently that the above bold is Not what is going on.

As expected, you were completely wrong.

Members are reporting their iPhone 11 was born as early as September 3, 2019.

iOS 13.0 was obviously locked down on or before this date.

Safari sometimes gets into this state where pages show up blank. It is like an empty scrollview, you can scroll for ages, but there is no content. The only way to fix that is to close and start Safari again.

This is still happening to me in iOS 13.1. It's incredible that it's still not fixed.
