The bugs in the latest iOS 13 beta worry me a bit about the quality of the final iOS 13 release.

Especially Apple Mail combined with Gmail. The status often says Downloading 0 of 1 email and then nothing happens. The "This message has no content." bug is super annoying.

Safari sometimes gets into this state where pages show up blank. It is like an empty scrollview, you can scroll for ages, but there is no content. The only way to fix that is to close and start Safari again.

I had my phone on flight mode for two or so hours yesterday. Then about an hour after turning off flight mode, my phone was connected to my car, it got into this notification frenzy. It was repeating all the email, Facebook, Messenger, etc. notifications of the past hours.

There's a lot to like about iOS 13, but these bugs are weird so close to the GM.

Does Quick Reply worked on 13.1 Public Beta 1? on 13.1 Dev Beta 1 didn't work :(

Part of me wonders if Apple released the 13.1 beta to mess with those that install these betas as their main driver/non-testing purposes, making it more difficult to get back on the main 13.0 release when it comes out. Beta testers, developers, etc. should know how to switch between the 13.0 and 13.1 betas, or have multiple devices for each. I don't think Apple would be that cruel though, ha.

Like others have said, they likely moved some features from 13.0 to 13.1. Or perhaps they're adding some secret feature to the remaining 13.0 internal betas to be the WOW factor when it's released?

I think of this as being similar to the Windows Insider channels, although not very elegant...13.0 being the 'Slow Ring' and 13.1 being the 'Fast Ring' or 'Skip Ahead'.

In total agreement - gmail is totally wonky on iPad OS 13 beta to the extent that I've had to use the gmail app just to get my email to display correctly >shudder< :(

I don’t know why people are saying it’s full of bugs. I installed it on my iPad Pro and iPhone SE and it’s working beautifully. I have not seen a single bug yet. <knock on wood>

HA HA HA HA!!!! As soon as I posted that message, Safari crashed on me! Priceless!

I should never have even entered this thread. It’s cursed! Cursed I tell you! Cursed!

Because 13.1 is being seeded before 13.0 even gets a proper GM?
If developers don't have their apps together by now thats on them. iOS 13 has been technically final for a couple weeks now internally at Apple since it has to be loaded onto new phones in production to ship out in about 2 weeks.

I'm seeing pretty severe Apple Watch S4 battery drain on 13.1. This was a pretty widespread report from previous betas but it had been corrected with the last 13 beta. ... I hate that it's back.

Is anyone getting sudden iCloud storage full notifications after updating to 13.1. I had 51 gbs free one minute then an hour late it’s says my 200gb is full but I’ve made no changes or additions to the files in my storage!

A reset and restore from backup of your watch will solve that issue.

Apple_Jae, have you tried the reset and restore that Gator5000e mentioned yet? please let us know if this indeed does resolve the battery drain or if we have to wait for Apple to address the issue in a new build like they did in the 13.0 builds.

thanks.

Am running the 13.1 public beta on my iPhone 7 Plus and it's definitely more buggy than the most recent 13.0 public beta, which was running quite well for me. Often I'm unable to swipe up the control centre - the phone just lags. Have also noticed that my Bose app, which used to work with 13.0, cannot connect to my bluetooth headphones 13.1.

Been running 13.1 PB since its release and it's really stable. Apart from the share sheet, I haven't encountered any problems yet. In fact, it actually fixed a bluetooth problem I had with the August Lock app. And Mail has been working fine since the previous 13.0 PB.

My Apple Watch S4 battery life is really bad now. Don't know if it is 5.3.1 WatchOS or iOS 13.1 beta problem, but, huh, what can be done about it? Anyone else?

This may be a really stupid question, but I didn't want to do the 13.1 Beta and ditched the Beta profile, because even with Automatic updates turned off, my iPad was still trying to update to 13.1. But the question is, now that I'm on the regular profile and I'm using the latest 13.0 Public Beta, will I have any trouble updating to the Final release of 13.0? I was just curious because my iPad says I'm currently on 13.0. Like I said, this is probably a stupid question

I don't think it's a stupid question. The current 13.0 beta we both have on our phones may just be the release version since they have not gone to 13.1. But if not, since you removed the profile, I imagine you will get an update to what you have now if an additional update is released.

I haven't updated to 13.1 either but still have the profile on my X and 31.1 is ready to install. I have the 1 sitting on my Settings icon for the 13.1 beta 1. But since I am probably not buying a new phone this year I may keep the Beta profile installed but not update until Apple releases an update to the current 13.1 beta 1 that is out now.

It is all rather confusing.

If you are on 13 and deleted the beta profile you should get the official release unless the most recent (beta 8) is the GM 13. No one has facts and it’s all a guess right now.
