i like Apples way of doing things...

Introduce features for something that is not even out yet..

Who the hell can use these features ? Its not like developers have early access to the Apple watch physically so they can test their stuff. That, i could understand.

It could be worse... you could be an Android user.

Actually I believe some developers from Facebook, twitter, etc do have access to the Apple Watch or at least earlier builds of it.

IOS 8 , Iphone 6 and Chrysler 430 radios with voice messages

Hopefully someone will read this and fix the issue where voice messages on the iPhone 6 plus will not play through the radios speakers in 2014-2015 Chrysler vehicles with 430 radios - Both my iPhone 6 plus and my friends will not play voice messages over the Uconnect but the iPhone 5 works fine
I am able to play messages on my 2012 430n radio with my iPhone 6 plus
all are updated to the most current IOS 8 version

The app for the Apple Watch might me something like with Nike+. So you have to enable it before you actually see the app. With Apple Watch it could be possible you first have to connect it with your iPhone in order to make the app show up. Makes sense, right? :p

This would be a good implementation.

----------

Have we heard there will be an app for it?

Unless I missed something, I doubt there will be. I suspect there will be a section for it in Settings and then it taps directly into apps.

Sorry if someone else replied small, but you did miss that part in the second to the last paragraph :)

HAHAHA don't even compare this to bloatware. Get a Verizon Galaxy S4 and you will truly see bloatware. I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but it seems like my Galaxy S4 came with 3-4 pages of pre installed apps. With jelly bean I don't believe you could do anything to get rid of them, while with kitkat you could "disable" them. All it does is hide them. They still take up room on the phone and such. Apps like Amazon, Trip Adviser, Kindle, eBay, then there were a good 5 pointless Verizon apps, and the list goes on and on. It was terrible.

Yeah, iPad is a nightmare on iOS 8. Horrendous laggy mess on the one year old hardware in the iPad Air and iPad mini 2. Really sad. Also, there are huge and inefficient wastes of space involved. They need to add more features that really differentiate between iPhone and iPad.

Again, this. It's like they don't care about iPad, it's extremely frustrating. The UI lag over there is really really sad to see.

iOS 8 works grat on my iPad 3.

Because a lot of iOS device customers never install apps, but still want to hear podcasts and open pdf files in iBooks, etc. Not everyone has an iTunes account.

The App Store model is wrong. Free apps shouldn't require an iTunes account, unless they are mature content.

Funny you say that as Google makes more and more apps independent to push updates through the playstore

Well, still about 70% of the crud they put out is tied to the OS; or do you thing they made lollipop for lolz... The rest is purely cosmetic and serves their commercial / ad revenue needs more than their clients. Or do you think changing a user level App in Windows means you just upgraded your operating system...

Browser? They bundle Chtone, so store update.
Email? Same
Maps? Same
Music? Same
SMS? I do believe it's in the store

What 70% are you talking about?

If you think this really comprise Android, I can't help you there... That's the user layer essentially.

Yes, system level things are tied to the system. I'm trying to figure out your random number, though. Can you list important things that make up 70% of Android that you're talking about? I know of api, yes, and things like Dalvik to ART or upgrades to ART, but Google has moved more than 30% of things to the store.

This is something that needs to be added in iOS 9 - there's a ridiculous amount of built in apps now, its akin to bloatware.

How many apps on OS x do you actually use?

Bloatware is the Norton free trial that comes on a Windows PC. Not an iPhone app you choose not to use.

Never had that problem, you might want to change your router :D. I'm using apple extreme and have never get drop.

Thinking about it, it is a Comcast Xfinity 2.4/5ghz router--absolute junk with piss poor range, too. (The 5ghz spectrum alone continually drops.)

Don't want to pony up for better equipment, but that Apple Extreme router is sounding really good about now.

BTW, Comcast is the WORST.

I have try many mid range routers and they eventually fail or some just never work properly. Didn't like the apple router price but I have been using it for almost 4 months and it rocks ! It's stupid good! The range is crazy and never drops wifi. I'm impress especially if you have ac wifi decide like iPhone 6.

more crap i cant delete? i dont get why things like Podcasts, iBooks etc have to be preinstalled. it would be so much easier to just have them on the welcome screen when you open the App Store for the first time, just like iWork Apps. besides they could be updated whenever instead of waiting on an iOS update

maybe its just a far smoother user experience to have them pre-installed. All ready to go. This is what the device you bought can do.
