It will work. :) But you wont be able to send any feedback through feedback app. It will show error saying your apple id is not listed in iOS beta program. Sign Out.

Rest everything will work. ;)

Will it effect trying to update normally if your Apple ID is not on the list?

Yes that is correct. The Developers need a rawer build as they need more time as they are creating/updating apps for the new OS. The Dev builds are NOT to be used on day to day devices they are to be used on devices for app testing only.

Apple will not give out the Public Beta till it is more stable as they know more people will put it on their main devices.

Same build number though, so the developer beta 4 and public beta 2 are the same.

Developer builds do get updated more frequently though. I've put 8.3b4 on my iPhone as I was getting really frustrated with 8.2 - it seems to have fixed a few quirks and generally seems pretty stable.

Dude, they're the same exact build... Just labeled differently.

Has anyone tested the Bluetooth connection with CarPlay yet? That is where CarPlay should have started out in the first place...

Wireless CarPlay works over 802.11, not Bluetooth. All of the decks out thus far have Bluetooth but only the Alpine head unit will support wireless CarPlay, as it's the only unit with a built in Wi-Fi chipset. Pioneer has already confirmed their units will not support it, due to their lack of Wi-Fi support.

My carrier version was updated from 18.3 on T-Mobile to 19. That's the only difference I notice so far.

I still have 18.0.1 on my iPad Air and 18.1.3 on my iPhone 6+ (both T-Mobile) :-/

edit: nevermind, both are now listed as 19.0 after the update finished

nothing new so far in this release, so I assume just cleaning up before the big party. Anyone notice anything yet?

This has been removed...It's something ;D
In the Settings menu of an iOS device running iOS 8.3 beta 3, there's a new option under iTunes & App Store labeled "Password Settings."

This. Siri needs to operate in more languages.

Siri needs to be bilingual ! I have foreign contacts, songs etc I would love him to be able to realise when I am speaking English and when I'm not.

Most I know either use iMessage because they have a iPhone or SMS because they don't.
Sometimes within an iMessage conversation some SMS will come through because one party might not have a good data connection for some reason or something along those lines. Seems to happen here and there--not frequently, but also more than just rarely.

I see... looking it up, the Alpine doesn't have Bluetooth period. Looks like I'm gonna pull the trigger on that unit pretty soon...

I have second public beta on my iPhone 6 & iPad Air 2...
I haven't noticed anything other than fluidity and keyboard improvements.
SUPER buttery though... the speed boost is palpable.

Nice to not have to "trick" keyboard into coming back in this update.

I pressed the link that was stated above, and my device is now able to update, but i searched OTA and it says that iOS 8.3 b2 is the latest to update. Why?

Edit: never mind. It's second public beta. Haha

Oh man, I've had this bug forever (and 2 different phones, both set up as new) and I couldn't find anyone else having the issue. I knew it had to be a general bug since it happened after a clean restore and on 2 different phones (I didn't have it replaced for this, it was swapped for a cosmetic ding I didn't want to deal with)

I assume you are referring to links not working in landscape, and then working when the phone is turned and turned back (or just left in vertical).

Yes, exactly this. It's crazy that more people aren't bothered by this issue. It seems the majority use the phone in portrait mode.

I agree w/ you. It's the most annoying bug relevant to iPhone 6 Plus and still not fix. Shame!

Apple Seeds Fourth iOS 8.3 Beta to Developers, Second Beta to Public Beta Tes...

Me too. Can only see Yosemitie

All yellow “people” emojis have blond/yellow hair instead of black hair.

Here you can see the difference between iOS 8.3 Beta 3 and iOS 8.3 Beta 4:

I've been signed up since the first day it became available for OS X and I have yet to receive an invite or a seed for the iOS public beta program. VERY annoying

You can try these new Emojis with this free App

Works itools or imazing to access a application sandbox?
In beta3 works, in beta4 not works, not see any sandbox of any application with any program.

The syslog show this:

handle_vending: Only containers for xcode-installed apps (apps with validated profiles) can be queried
