I'm on the ios 9 beta. I was waiting for this public beta of 8.4 but it showed up after I had installed ios 9!

If I've already received the 8.3/8.4 public betas, do you think I'll still get the iOS 9 public betas? I'd think so, seeing as they've already selected me for some betas...

I would assume so. My thinking is, as long as you keep the beta profile enabled on your device you will keep getting any new public beta release. I think once your Apple ID is flagged to allow public beta profiles (OS X and/or iOS) you should be good to go until they terminate the program.

Can someone post a mini-player shot? Or/and confirm whether it's possible to rate playing tracks from it, and therefore from the lock screen too? Cheers.

Here is a screenshot showing the star rating.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks!

Thanks. Is that the mini-player? I just wanna swipe the mini-player up from anywhere, rate the playing track and swipe the player back down again, without switching to the music app. If I get just that I'd be happy.

The "new" mini player is only a little bar that sits on the bottom (above the my music and playlist tabs) when you swipe down from the screenshot I took. You can't access it from outside the music app.

Darn. Switching apps to rate tracks bugs me. Mainly as the home button doesn't last.

After tapping play on one of the albums suggested that I don't own, it gives me "subscription required to play this", and this is what I get when tapping subscribe:

Not loading yet, but it's there.

Where are you seeing album suggestions? Do you have a screen shot?

Does this build have the new iOS Music app icon?

Hopefully they won't tinker with the desktop system requirements with 8.4. My Mac Pro 1,1 works fine with my iPhone 6.
It would be nice but not probable that ios9 will keep the same desktop requirements. If it changes then I'll have to upgrade to lion or just stay on ios8.

Apple Music looks really nice and is the better option for me rather than Spotify (of which I have been paying £9 for since July 14).

The UI looks real nice, compatibility across all my devices (inc Apple Watch) ETC..

I am not to sure on Connect, if Artists post compelling content then perhaps it will separate it from Ping, but I don't think the majority of people care how in love Artists are with the music making process, and how deep and spiritual it is...

Thoughts?

Wait, does this mean that iTunes match will be no more? Music seems to be doign the exact same thing, but at a much higher price?
Does the same thing + Professionally currated playlists + access to entire iTunes Catalog on demand vs only your own.

And therefore I won't be transitioning. My music library is large, enough that I typically only add 1-2 albums worth of content a year, not per month... and those I have as DRM free licensed copies to me. Not tied to a DRM streaming system.

Does the music app work this time? All the betas the music crashed, skipped and failed constantly for me making it unusable (I listen to music more than I use any other function really).

How is it working with Apple Watch ? Any problems ?
