Can anyone comment on the battery life of this beta? Beta 3 wasn't good. iOS9 beta 1 is not good either. So how's beta 4?

Is this 'remove' option new?

Hmm, isn't it new that you can stream your purchased music even though you don't have iTunes Match? Before 8.4 you could only download them.

Tough decision to put this beta on (ran beta 1 which was awful) or iOS 9...

I tried iOS 9 b1 for two days and gave up due to battery drain. Put 8.3 back on then up to the latest 8.4 beta. Much better, and 8.4 b4 is very stable. I will go back to iOS 9 when the public beta comes out next month.

Has the music bug been fixed ? Beta 1 if the phone was in airplane mode no music that was local on the phone would be shown

So the first time I went onto the music app Apple Music came up. I clicked not now and it went and now I don't know how to bring it back up again. Anybody know how to?

iOS 8.4's major feature is an all-new Music app that includes a revamped look, as seen in the walkthrough video below.

Any chance they fixed the per chapter scrubbing or the chapter titles for audiobooks? Because I'm using 2 different apps now for audiobooks to bridge the gap between iOS 6 functionality and the broken music app. It also keeps trying to play audiobooks (e.g. when connecting to bluetooth in the car) and frankly its screwing up things like keeping place, etc.

I've loved my apple gear lo these 30 years, but I never guess how much the twiggy font issues and deleted audiobook functionality would make me interested in trying a Samsung Galaxy S6. Unless they're fixed (not listening to formal feedback requests) I'm definitely checking one out when my contract is up this December. Or, maybe I'll get a Tab instead of an iPad for our summer vacation to try out the other side.

Can somebody help me please. I click Individual and it gets stuck here.

Nope.

From Apple website :

I'm on the public beta and I still have the iTunes Match button. Image:

Ah, here is what it looks like with iTunes Match turned on, instead showing iCloud Music Library:

iTunes Match in the Music Settings is now iCloud Music Library

Wait, does this mean that iTunes match will be no more? Music seems to be doign the exact same thing, but at a much higher price?

Does the same thing + Professionally currated playlists + access to entire iTunes Catalog on demand vs only your own.

And therefore I won't be transitioning. My music library is large, enough that I typically only add 1-2 albums worth of content a year, not per month... and those I have as DRM free licensed copies to me. Not tied to a DRM streaming system.

So what is going on with iTunes Match? Has anyone heard anything new? My subscription renews Monday and they just emailed me about it. It sounds like Apple Music includes the benefits of iTunes Match, so you only need one or the other. Maybe they will keep Match around for those that want the cloud storage but not the other stuff?

apple.com says it's independent... yet complimentary.

This is what I was thinking... More questions than answers with the apple.com response honestly...

Im guessing this will also enable Apple Pay in the UK too, given the timing.

Can't wait!
