Tough decision to put this beta on (ran beta 1 which was awful) or iOS 9...
I tried iOS 9 b1 for two days and gave up due to battery drain. Put 8.3 back on then up to the latest 8.4 beta. Much better, and 8.4 b4 is very stable. I will go back to iOS 9 when the public beta comes out next month.
Has the music bug been fixed ? Beta 1 if the phone was in airplane mode no music that was local on the phone would be shown
iOS 8.4's major feature is an all-new Music app that includes a revamped look, as seen in the walkthrough video below.
Of course. It's been this way since I can remember. Those running beta, can u upgrade to final once released or not?
That just takes me to the home page that says Enroll your Mac.
Nope.
From Apple website :
Ah, here is what it looks like with iTunes Match turned on, instead showing iCloud Music Library:

iTunes Match in the Music Settings is now iCloud Music Library
Wait, does this mean that iTunes match will be no more? Music seems to be doign the exact same thing, but at a much higher price?
Does the same thing + Professionally currated playlists + access to entire iTunes Catalog on demand vs only your own.
And therefore I won't be transitioning. My music library is large, enough that I typically only add 1-2 albums worth of content a year, not per month... and those I have as DRM free licensed copies to me. Not tied to a DRM streaming system.
Hmm, isn't it new that you can stream your purchased music even though you don't have iTunes Match? Before 8.4 you could only download them.
apple.com says it's independent... yet complimentary. So what is going on with iTunes Match? Has anyone heard anything new? My subscription renews Monday and they just emailed me about it. It sounds like Apple Music includes the benefits of iTunes Match, so you only need one or the other. Maybe they will keep Match around for those that want the cloud storage but not the other stuff?
