WiFi.

If Apple *still* can't fix it. After months of being broken. On premium hardware and software.

Then they are either incredibly incompetent or arrogant.

Incompetent because with all that huge cash pile that can't get this right when others with me control like Linux and even Windows can.

Arrogant because they'd rather invest in emojis. While people who paid over the odds for computers that need for work and daily life end up with a shiny brick.

Even my cheap netbook WiFi works.

Your cheap netbook doesn't do Continuity or Handoff. I'm pretty sure that's the main problem (I guess discoveryd related). What mac model is yours?

This bothered me for a while, then read about how people deleted the finder plist file and it worked.

I did it in terminal which finally worked over just dragging to the trash.

sudo rm - R /Users/**your_username***/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist

Then do a restart right after!

I did the dragging to trash and restarting but it always comes back..
Didn't try the terminal one though..

Just upgraded the beta! Fingers crossed :)

Or... Maybe very few people have this bug, it is hard to fix and its not easy to reproduce. They majorly changed the network stack to include continuity and most WIFI/bluetooth bugs probably emerged at that moment. Though not everybody has them.

Does it do the same thing on all WIFI routers, or just that one?.

They usually fix bugs first that affect the most people and have the biggest impact... Then going down the list.

Dock Transparency

Still haven't fixed the transparency sticking after a reboot. Defaults to Reduce, and have to change it back under Sys Pref.

Not a big deal, but annoying.

Didn't you hear?

They assigned all of their engineers and designers to the emoji diversification project

Even Tim Cook has been laser focused on these emoji's

I heard they even diverted all their mechanical engineers from the car project to the Emoji issues (sic) like you said, laser focus ;-).

They finally fixed Spotlight Suggestions in this build!

There was a bug when your language and region settings didn't match up it wouldn't work. I.e. if you had language = english and region = germany. It appears to be fixed now. :)

EDIT: The same bug affected iOS as well. It seems to be fixed with 8.2 :)

Did you consider running the beta software on a separate partition instead of your main partition where the official OS X software is installed? Delete the partition containing the beta sofware when your are done.

Yup. The beta OS was on a separate partition than my 10.10.2 install - and my home directory was not on the beta partition (I split them all up deliberately).

Photos

There seems to be better RAW support now, a message pops up saying a newer version of RAW adjustments is available, and it seems to alter the pictures much better than before.

I never thought of this as a bug, but an intentional limitation. Apple states on their web pages that Spotlight Suggestions and some Siri features may not be available to you, depending on region and system language. Perhaps they expanded those features now, to make them more broadly available.

NVMExpress?

This is new, right?

Gotta ask, what problems do you have with wifi?

Anyone else's update weighing in at 1.47 GB? I'm on the PB version of Beta 3, so its not like I'm multiple versions behind.

It also seems that Apple's server is either slammed or this copy of OS X is hosted on a server that is connected to one of the slowest ISPs ever; its saying 40 mins to download the file on my (just tested) 60Mbps network.

Hope this fixes the annoying bug where Finder doesn't open when you click it from the dock

Absolutely this. I reported this bug when it cropped up last week.

Edit: Installed update to Yosemite, Finder window launches properly from tool tray icon now.

I don't think so. English is obviously supported and Germany was supported from day one as well.
It's possible, though.

Lookup is still a blank space for me after this seed. :( It says searching for a sec, but then turns blank

Finder is fixed. It is quite a big file for that little change. Maybe some internal stuff.
