Control+Command+D seems not working. I assigned it to a button on my Logitech M705 mouse, mostly for looking up dictionary.
Has anyone had success connecting to an 802.1x network with DP4?
Yes, I'm aware of this issue, but my 802.1x network is using a 2048 bit certificate. There seems to be some crash in the connection process between the MS-CHAPv2 connection and the assignment of an IP address... I've seen other people with this issue as well.Did you read the prerelease notes? It seems that the only 802.1x networks affected are those which use weak encryption. OS X is now unable to connect to these networks because it upped its security. It is quite annoying though because I can't use my office Wifi anymore until the university security looks at it (which knowing them will take ages) :/
Thanks, saved me another miserable attempt at the beta.Yet no fix for the non working Exchange account in Mail!
I'm having more handoff style issues. Then again, to be honest, I have had issues with my iPhone and handoff since it was introduced. It used to relay text messages to iMsg app, but now it will not. I've never had it successfully connect if I pulled out my laptop and just tried to browse the internet. I always have to unlock my phone and open up personal hotspot (in settings) for it to even show. This still works fine.Has anyone had success connecting to an 802.1x network with DP4?
... I pretty much gave up hope that they would release a web driver during the El Capitan beta period, so I stopped checking their site every few days. Thanks!
It was already clear from the first beta that this has been improved by a large factor on various Macs. The lag cannot be fixed because of how the scaling works and how much resources it eats up on the GPU. However, it can be continuously improved by reducing the amount of work it needs to do. Apple changed Mission Control to do less blurring and by doing less work, Mission Control is now almost always smooth, even on retina Macbook.
What? This is unacceptable. Because my lag issue don't come from an update (and even so), but on a brand new Macbook Pro Retina which came packed with Yosemite and many UI lags. There's absolutely no justification for that, probably going to ditch that for an older Macbook.
Does that mean 10.11 can be upgraded from 10.4? The 2007 Macs that still are supported came out with 10.4. IIRC, 10.8 removed the ability to migrate data/settings from 10.4, but I could be wrong in that respect.

And please, don't say how well it works over Yosemite, you guys always say the same thing no matter what. It doesn't work anymore though...
