Does Skype Work on iPhone 4???

Since Beta 1, Skype has been broken and I was REALLY hoping it was resolved with Beta 3... Not sure if the fix is required from Apple or Skype though...

...and iOS will proceed to interrupt the download and delete the app.

About cancelling a download...what if the download is an update to an already installed app. Will it delete the app or just cancel the download?
I wouldn't want to delete the app, I would only want to cancel the process of downloading the update.

Also to make the phone complete, they really need to introduce weather/calendar widgets to the lock page.

I have to agree. That is about the only thing I actually like in the android market. I appreciate being able to see the weather or your upcoming events. But still rather have an iPhone.

My only real complaint about iOS now is how dang long it takes for the camera to start up. I remember having the 3GS and it opening instantly.

Wow, I thought this was just an issue with my 3GS because it is "old" hardware. I didn't realize it was an iOS problem in general. It is very annoying though. My music takes very long to load most of the time too. I'm talking 10+ seconds.

Why would you want to cancel a download anyway? Never had a need for this.

Before I get it... anyone know if they yanked the new gestures from the iPad yet?

I'm planning to stick with the final version to support those - I love them so much. That beta will expire after a while, but they're so good.

Looks like the folders issue is fixed.

And the camera app opens in about 2 seconds. ;-)

Tethering works in the UK

Ios 4.3 also adds bluetooth tethering support to the ipad, which means that iPhone 3GS users can now share their iPhone connection to their iPad despite the fact that the 3GS does not support wifi tethering.
(This was added in beta 2 but I never saw any reference to it anywhere and only discovered it today)

I've been tethering my iPad 4.3 beta 2 to my iphone 3Gs 4.3 beta 2 for a couple of weeks now. In the UK I'm on the O2 network. Just required an additional £7.50 tethering bolt-on from the service provider. This is still cheaper than the £15 per month rolling contract for the sim only iPad.

Apple has said the gestures will remain in the betas but won't be available in the final 4.3. I assume they'll be announced publicly with iPad 2 and be in the final version of 4.4 or 4.5 (whichever comes on the iPad 2 but can also be installed on the original iPad).

Accidental download maybe? It could happen.

Sometimes there network bugs and downloads get stuck, well, at least it's happened to me before. It would be nice to just delete it and start the download over again. Otherwise that issue usually requires a reboot of the phone.

my camera opens instantly iphone 4 with 4.3 beta 3

No delay for the camera with me either on this latest build - did automatically rebuild library on first open. (On iPhone 4)

Slightly off topic, but they really need to change the way notifications are displayed. No more modal pop-ups. Hopefully this is near the top of their list for iOS 5.
